“I think the main thing that he always told me is like, ‘Stop caring about what people think, especially the people that don’t even know you,'" she explained before admitting that “social media used to get me a lot” but now she doesn’t “give a f-ck about what people have to say about me anymore."

“And I think he’s helped me get to that point where I’m strong in who I am, I’m confident in who I am and I’m confident in mine and his relationship -- and I’m confident in our life," she added. "So, why does what other people say have to matter at all?”

On August 13, Donald Trump shared a post on Instagram titled "The 2024 GOP Platform," which outlined several controversial points, including "Deport pro-Hamas radicals," "Cut federal funding for any school pushing Critical Race Theory," "Keep men OUT of women's sports," and "Stop the migrant crime epidemic."

Brittany allegedly liked the post, sparking a wave of backlash.

Following the criticism from social media users, the fitness trainer took to her Instagram Stories, clapping back at the hate. "I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood," she wrote. "There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."

In April, Patrick Mahomes told Time that he would refrain from publicly discussing his choice of candidates.

“I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president,” the quarterback said. “I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.”

Patrick and Brittany are close friends with Patrick's teammate, Travis Kelce, and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who has previously voiced opposition to Trump, endorsing Joe Biden in the 2020 election. This has led many to speculate whether the "22" singer will support Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
