According to TMZ, DMX was in such bad shape when he arrived at the hospital, doctors are on the fence about whether the 50-year-old star will survive. One source told the outlet the "Where The Hood At" rapper was in a "vegetative" state while another claimed was only showing limited signs of brain activity.

None of the reports have been confirmed by DMX's official reps or his family, but as time goes on other authorities in the hip-hop world have spoken about X and appear to corroborate the reports.
