Matthew McConaughey Goes Pantsless To Promote 'Lawn Jorts' Cocktail

Matthew McConaughey's latest promotion has fans saying, "Alright, alright, alright!"

The "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" actor is turning heads with his latest stunt, going pantsless to promote the new "Lawn Jorts" cocktail. In true McConaughey style, the actor and entrepreneur brought his laid-back charm and a touch of humor to the launch.

As Labor Day approaches, Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila are working on a stylish trim in their pants-less style--with a Pantalones Organic Tequila cocktail in hand, of course.

Matthew and Camila just dropped a new photo, shared with The Blast, as the latest release from the brand's "Official Tequila Of" campaign, officially dubbing the tequila as the "Official Tequila of Mowing Your Lawn."

The pair have been sharing photos all summer long, with Pantalones Tequila and without actual pantalones, reminding us that not everything has to be taken so seriously. We have seen the couple pantless poolside, grilling, and golfing.

The couple's final mow is the perfect match for their new "Lawn Jorts" cocktail, shared with The Blast.

The "Lawn Jorts" cocktail is crafted with 2 oz Pantalones Organic Tequila Blanco, of course, 1.5 oz honeydew melon juice, 1 oz orange liqueur, 1 oz lime juice, 0.25 oz agave syrup, and four mint leaves.

Before mixing, muddle fresh sliced honeydew melon and strain the juice. In a shaker, combine Pantalones Organic Tequila, the freshly muddled honeydew melon juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup, and drop in the mint leaves.

Muddle up the mint leaves to let those juices mix and mesh into your drink. Drop in some ice cubes and get to shaking. Pour your honeydew mint cocktail into a glass and garnish with your last mint leaf.

Last year, Matthew and Camila launched their Pantalones tequila brand, but where did the name come from?

“We’re precious about our tequila, not our pants,” he and his wife said in a statement, per People Magazine. “With the explosion in popularity of tequila, there’s a level of snootiness that’s crept into the category. People now talk about tequila the way they talk about wine. While we’re all for being passionate about tequila, we wanted to remind people that, above all, it’s meant to be fun."

“That’s where the name Pantalones came from and that’s why you won’t see us wearing any," the couple added.

Finding the ideal elements for their perfect libation was no easy feat, but the McConaughey's were determined to see their vision through. “We'd been saving all the samples that we had of every iteration of the tequila. And we had forty-seven. At one point we laid them all out and we had forty-seven of them,” Camila told Country Living. “We would try it separately from each other and then together, and we wouldn’t say anything."

Matthew chimed in, “Blind taste tests, switch ‘em around. As we got closer, like [samples] thirty to forty-six, we had some, we were like, that’s getting close, but the 47th was when we went, bam." He then snapped his fingers, “That’s the one.”

Earlier this year, the actor mixed up another cocktail called the Sunrise Speedo. Ingredients:

• 2 oz Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila
• 2 oz Orange Juice
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• 1 oz Grenadine
• Cherry and Orange Wheel to garnish

In a shaker with ice, combine Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila, Orange Juice, and Lime Juice. Shake well and pour into a high-ball glass with ice. Float the grenadine on top like you're floating on a lazy river. Put the cherry on top of the perfect cocktail by garnishing it with an orange wheel and cherry.
