Anya Taylor-Joy 'Entirely Exposed' In Braless Open Cardigan

Anya Taylor-Joy turned heads as she put on another stylish display in Cannes, France this summer. In May, the 28-year-old actress opted for leggy hot pants and an impossibly chic jacket, going slightly sparkly and with a bare-chested finish upping the ante. Rocking a bedazzled silver cardigan held together only by a single neck button, Anya was braving a wardrobe malfunction as she was photographed strutting around pebbled streets, and there was enough chest on show for The Daily Mail to report her cleavage as being "entirely exposed." Flying the flag for summer chic in high heels, Anya received mixed feedback, with some feeling that she could have covered up a little.

Channeling the shirtless trend as she wore nothing underneath, the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star flashed hints of her bare chest, staying safe, but nonetheless showing her curves. Teetering around in strappy black heels, Anya kept glam in statement shades, also sporting her signature blonde locks down.

Rocking a long manicure and a full face of makeup, Anya accentuated her high cheekbones via a discreet layer of blush, but there was nothing low-key about her bold red lipstick. Users reacting to the photos didn't seem to hate the outfit overall, but many felt that Anya should have gone either leggy or busty, but not both.

"One or the other. Either wear the top and then something longer on the bottom, or vice versa... both exposed = not her best look," one replied. "I normally love her style but this doesn’t work," another said, with a third agreeing as they wrote: "Too much. She should wear something longer or some sheer tights."

May was a busy month for Anya, who also made style headlines for this racy minidress. Rocking a criss-cross, corseted back as she displayed her lean figure in a red Mugler number, Anya wowed in street snaps ahead of her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, with the cheeky leather look even seeing her going undies-free.

Anya has opened up on her style and on being judged in the public eye.

“Fashion began as a means of feeling comfortable,” The Queen's Gambit star told Harper's Bazaar. “The actual experience of a red carpet was so anxiety-inducing for me. I found that if I was making it about something more artful, then I just turned off a part of my brain that usually would be afraid and that made me excited about it instead."
