Jackson Mahomes' 'Creepy' Comment On Travis Kelce's Ex's Picture Sparks Backlash

Jackson Mahomes, the brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is taking another swing at Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole.

Travis, who's tight with Patrick both on and off the field, had an on-and-off relationship with Kayla for five years. The NFL star confirmed he was single in early 2023, just before sparking a romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Last year, Jackson Mahomes dropped a “THAT GIRL” comment, complete with a fire emoji, on one of Kayla Nicole's Instagram posts. Now, he's at it again, and people are quick to label him "creepy" and a "clown" for his latest move.

The model was spotted in New York City, holding what she referred to as a “delicious bag.” She shared a series of photos on Sunday, rocking a Miu Miu crop top, a tan pleated skirt, and black boots, captioning them, “Not in Ibiza.”

The post has received nearly 500 comments. One of those comments was left by Patrick Mahomes' brother, Jackson.

“Very demure!” he said, adding that she “ate with this fit."

After seeing the comment, several social media users called Jackson a "clown."

“Corny,” one user said, adding a clown emoji. A second called him a “creeper.”

A third referred to Jackson's legal troubles, commenting, “Assaulting an innocent woman on camera … [is] not very demure,” while another asked, “They have IG in prison, or are you not there yet?”

As The Blast reported, Jackson found himself in trouble with the law after he was accused of sexually assaulting. In March, he was slapped with a six-month probation sentence, which stemmed from a February 2023 incident where he allegedly grabbed a woman by the neck and forced a kiss on her without her consent.

This isn’t Jackson Mahomes’ first attempt at hitting on Kayla Nicole. Last year, Kayla posted a pic of herself in a backless mini dress on Instagram, and Jackson commented, “THAT GIRL” with a fire emoji.

Jackson also commented on Kayla's open letter about the backlash she has faced since her ex, Travis, began dating Taylor Swift. “It’s always been really important for me to use my platform, not to create division, but to elevate and unite women, Black women specifically,” Kayla said in a video last year.

“Dear Black girl, they may call you a traitor for falling in love. You’ll hope the ones closest will protect you, but you will quickly find out that people don’t protect what they don’t value,” she continued. “They’ll say you’re too much, too provocative, too boisterous, too outspoken, and in the same breath, tell you that you aren’t enough. They’ll say you deserve the backlash and embarrassment. Because of your Blackness, you should have known better.”

Jackson Mahomes showed his support by dropping three black heart emojis on the post.

Jackson Mahomes' sentencing came over two months after prosecutors dropped three felony charges of aggravated sexual battery.

"Those more serious charges were dropped due to a lack of cooperation from the woman, according to a court filing," ESPN reported. "The remaining misdemeanor battery charge said Jackson Mahomes shoved a waiter who tried to come into a room where he was with the woman, according to investigators."

Prosecutors dropped the felony charges after the woman, who owned the restaurant, refused to testify. She reported receiving death threats and harassment, and her restaurant was vandalized following the charges.

Ultimately, she closed the restaurant in August 2023.

Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce were an item for five years, during which time Kayla became tight with Travis's teammate and close friend, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany. But the drama kicked into high gear after Travis and Kayla called it quits and Travis started dating Taylor Swift.

Last year, Kayla Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes on Instagram, which was shocking as Kayla and Brittany stayed tight even after Kayla's split from Travis Kelce in 2022. But after Brittany grew closer to Taylor, Kayla pulled away.

As The Blast reported, Kayla hit the unfollow button on Brittany's Instagram and even “un-liked” some of her past posts.
