If Taylor Swift's fans needed more proof of Chris Martin's golden heart, he gave them the best show of his love with a special tribute.
The Coldplay frontman recently performed with his band in Vienna, coincidentally at the same arena as Swift's canceled concerts. He honored her fans with a heartwarming rendition of her hit 2008 song, "Love Story."
Chris Martin's homage to Swifties comes weeks after their idol was forced to cancel her shows due to a terror plot. Fortunately, authorities foiled the horrifying scheme before it happened.
Chris Martin Scores Major Points With Taylor Swift Fans In Vienna
Martin's homage to Swifties went viral on social media platforms like X, with a fan sharing the iconic moment he honored Swift's fans in the Vienna stadium. The singer nervously pleaded with fans not to share his performance, telling them:
"If this is not good, please, please don't put it on YouTube because I don't want to get in trouble with Taylor. If you can sing with us, that would be wonderful."
Martin also described the song he chose as "wonderful," earning loud cheers and screams of approval even before hitting the first notes of Swift's beloved "Love Story" song. The smitten fan captioned the video:
"Chris Martin dedicated 'Love Story' to all Swifties who were supposed to see Taylor in Vienna at the exact same stadium she was supposed to perform at."

The Coldplay frontman received love on X, with many applauding his tribute to Swifties. One fan declared, "Chris is such a good dude," while another chimed, "Awesome and appreciated by those who missed out."
"I've ALWAYS loved Chris Martin, but I can't believe he dedicated yet another song to her, and IT'S HER OWN THIS TIME. This makes me cry. I really hope she sees this!" a fellow supporter penned, referencing the singer's "Everglow" tribute to Swift in July.
"Very cool. You could hear the Swifties in the crowd scream by the third note on his guitar…. How do they do that?" an X user wondered. Meanwhile, a Swiftie implored critics to leave their idol alone, writing:
"Have you seen the statement she has just released on Instagram? Maybe people can now stop being salty towards her. She has addressed those being quite nasty to her in the last couple of weeks."
Swift Breaks Silence On Her Canceled Vienna Shows
The statement the X user highlighted marked Swift's first response to her canceled Vienna shows and the foiled terror plot. The Blast shared that she dropped the lengthy message on Instagram, explaining the reasons for her silence.
According to the Grammy-winning artist, she didn't rush to address the situation because of its sensitivity. Given that people tried to harm her fans at her concerts, she couldn't risk Swifties' safety by saying something that could trigger another attack.
"Having our Vienna shows canceled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows," Swift explained.
The 'Blank Space' Singer Prioritized Lives Over Concerts
Swift doubled down on the cancellations being the best outcome for fans, writing: "I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives." She continued:
"I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London."
"My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us," the singer added, assuring Vienna fans that she stayed quiet to protect other Swifties.
Inside Taylor Swift's Vienna Terror Plot
The director-general for public safety, Franz Rufhas, revealed that three teenagers were arrested in connection with the foiled terror attack at Swift's concert. The main suspect was a 19-year-old, while his co-conspirators were 17 and 15.
The group planned to attack concertgoers at Swift's shows by allegedly driving a car into those waiting outside the concert stadium. They also planned to harm young fans with knives and machetes.
The trio's terror plot didn't end there, with Rufhas confirming that one of the teenagers had manufactured explosives at his home. He stole the chemical substances to build the bombs from his workplace.
Given the group's horrifying plans, it was unsurprising that Taylor Swift canceled her Vienna shows. Hopefully, Chris Martin's tribute has soothed any wounded heart.
