'High School Musical': Vanessa Hudgens Dated Another Cast From The Franchise In Real Life

Vanessa Hudgens is well known in the movie industry, for her roles in the "High School Musical" franchise. Also, her love interest in the movie, Zac Efron, became her real life partner. 

When fans found out that Hudgens and Efron had taken their romance off-screen, they were filled with joy, as there could not be another two, who were made for each other. 

However, this romance did not last long as the couple soon slit up and moved on to other people. Speaking of other people, Hudgens dated another cast of "HSM" to fans' surprise. 

Hudgens was born in Salinas, California, U.S. on December 14, 1988 to Gina and Gregory Hudgens. She grew up with a younger sister named Stella. Her father is a late firefighter of Irish and French descent, while her mother is from Manila, Philippines. 

She began her acting career kicked off when she was 15 years old, with a role in an episode of "Still Standing." In 2003, she was featured for a supporting role in a theatrical film titled "Thirteen." 

In 2006, Hudgens was cast as Gabriella Montez in Disney's original "High School Musical." This iconic feature set her up for more incredible roles in the future. 

In the Disney movie, Hudgens played the character Gabriella Montez, a high school science student, who fell in love with a basketball player, Troy Bolton (Zac Efron.)

Hudgens helped Efron realize his love for music and after hiding out for a while, he finally opened himself up to his incredible talent. 

Fans were completely in love with this couple and hoped that they would continue with their relationship in real life, which they did. The couple started dating officially in 2005. Unfortunately, in 2010, the pair decided to breakup. 

Fans were involved in Hudgens and Efron's romance that they had no idea that "The Princess Switch" actress also dated another cast from the franchise. 

The original film and its sequel was released on Disney Channel, however, the third part of the franchise was first revealed in theaters. These were the only parts that featured Hudgens and Efron. 

A fourth part was released straight to DVD and in it, Disney introduced another cast, Austin Butler. Although his love interest in the film was Ashley Tisdale, he was also involved with Hudgens off-screen. 

The duo first met in 2005, but Hudgens was already entangled with Efron on and off-screen. 

After officially splitting from Efron, Hudgens started dating Butler. They took their romance public in 2011. The pair remained a couple for about nine years, before breaking up in 2020. 

Now, the "Second Act" actress, is dating Cole Tucker, a prominent baseball player. She revealed this romance to her fans in 2021 via Instagram, with a cute picture dedicated to her man on Valentine's Day.
