Chrissy Teigen has sparked complaints from the Jewish community after referencing the Nazis in a post tearing down 25-year-old model and former teen bride Courtney Stodden. On Thursday, "Bully"singer Courtney updated her Instagram with a mention of 34-year-old Teigen's current headline – the cookbook queen and wife to singer John Legend has announced that she's leaving Twitter, with Stodden celebrating the departure by digging up an old tweet from Sports Illustrated face Teigen. Fans of Courtney didn't dig it, and in multiple ways. Check it out below.

Scroll for the tweet. Teigen this week left Twitter, posting for her 13.7 million followers and saying that the platform had started to "negatively" serve her. "Hey. For over 10 years, you guys have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends," she wrote.

Teigen, who has feuded with many celebrities including Courtney Stodden, now sees her departure welcomed by the reality star, but one aspect of the word choice has offended Jews in the comments section.

Courtney had posted a tweet from 2011, one seeing Teigen comment on Courtney's Facebook page being deleted. "Saying Courtney Stodden's FB page got shut down for being "too sexy" is like saying the nazi's were just meanies. As in, not quite," the tweet read.

Stodden took to her caption, referencing the April 2020 instance she referred to mom of two Chrissy as a "Bully," writing: "What a shame @chrissyteigen is leaving Twitter ... it’s too “negative” for herrrrrr #chrissyteigen #bully." See the response after the tweet.

Fans have been responding. Most sided with Stodden in the context of her Facebook having been deleted, with one writing: "This is a terrible analogy on her part, aside from being offensive she’s basically emphasizing that you’re sexy."

Others, however, focused on other aspects of Teigen's wording. "This is SO wrong on so many levels. Not only is she putting down a beautiful & sweet woman (you) but she’s insulting the Jews with any kind of Nazi comparison," another replied, adding:

"I’m half Jewish and can’t stand this kind of stuff. Keep your head high Courtney. Many people love you!"

Known for her brazen tweets and heavy criticism of Donald Trump, Chrissy continued in her exit statement, writing: "But it's time for me to say goodbye. This no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively, and I think that's the right time to call something."

"My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don't is too much for me. I've always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl but I'm just not," she closed. "Live well, tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you."
