Jennifer Lopez Ignores Ben Affleck's Birthday As She Shows Actor What He's Missing With New Pics

Jennifer Lopez has seemingly chosen to ignore Ben Affleck's birthday, fueling ongoing speculation about their potential divorce.

Despite Affleck turning 52 on Thursday, the singer did not publicly acknowledge her husband's special day, even though she was active online.

Instead, Jennifer Lopez posted photos of herself in a Dior outfit, which were taken when she celebrated her 55th birthday.

On Thursday, Affleck turned 52 but did not get any online wishes from Lopez,  contrary to the loud manner she went for the previous year.

Last year, the singer posted a cute video of herself and Affleck singing Sam Cook's "What a Wonderful World" with the caption "Dear Ben … Happy Birthday. I love you!"

This time around, Lopez opted to flaunt herself, sharing pictures of her wearing a risque translucent dress from Dior.

The net-like outfit, in a nude color, featured several floral embellishments scattered across its surface. Lopez paired it with open-toe black heels that matched the cloth belt she used to cinch the gown tightly around her waist.

She accessorized with multiple pieces of jewelry, including rings, a bracelet, and dangling earrings. Her makeup was flawless, and while her hair was styled in a bun, she let some strands cascade down to her shoulders.

As she posed in various styles in front of a classic car, the actress held a beautiful beaded bag that perfectly complemented her ensemble.

Although the caption of her post simply informed fans about the designer of her outfit, the fact that the picture was taken during her own 55th birthday celebration seemed to suggest she was sending a cryptic message to Affleck.

According to reports, Affleck did not attend the "Bridgerton"-themed birthday party Lopez threw for herself when she celebrated the milestone last month.

These reports appear to be confirmed by the absence of Affleck in the photos she shared on Instagram from the event.

Furthermore, Affleck was not mentioned in the post's caption, where she only thanked her fans for their well wishes.

She wrote at the time, "I've been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world. I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears. I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world. I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life."

Several days ago, Lopez visited Affleck's rental home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, where he has been staying since leaving the mansion he shared with the "Atlas" actress.

Sources close to Lopez shared that the visit was not to hold talks for a possible reconciliation but for her to spend time with Affleck's kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, whom he shares with his ex Jennifer Garner.

"Just because she's not with Ben doesn't mean that she doesn't care about his kids," the insider said, per People magazine.

They added, "She always cared about them. She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year. Now, when she's back in L.A., she wants to spend quality time with them before school resumes, and Violet is off to college."

The 18-year-old, who graduated high school in May, has reportedly been trying to prevent her dad from leaving her famous stepmom.

According to the Daily Mail, Violet is "heartbroken" that the couple's relationship has soured and recently wore the "Jenny From The Block" singer's 2023 D&G dress she wore on Valentine's Day with Affleck as a sign of solidarity.

"Violet does wish her dad Ben would stay with JLo," an insider said. "She wasn't living in their house and did not see the extent of the breakdown, but she got extremely close to JLo over the past couple of years and it broke her heart when they split."

"She is not going to stop talking to JLo and recently enjoyed time in the Hamptons with her," the source continued. "Wearing her soon-to-be former stepmom's Valentine's Day dress was a bit of a statement - she knew what she was doing. Those close to her thought it was bizarre."

Before the visit, Lopez and Affleck had gone "weeks" without seeing each other, and on the rare occasions they were spotted solo in public, they were often without their wedding rings.

According to a source, the duo are "moving on separately," as Lopez has been "trying to find a new home" after Affleck recently bought a $20.5 million mansion, per People.

While it's unclear when the duo will officially file for divorce, sources claim they are taking their time to ensure the process is "seamless."

"Neither of them want this process to be rushed," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "They want to make sure the kids are comfortable with the transition and where they are living, etcetera. They don't want to make it feel like they're pulling the rug from underneath their children."
