The "Yeah!" hitmaker recently sparked concerns about his well-being after postponing an August 14 gig. However, he proved he was well with a cute father moment.

Usher celebrated two of his four children on social media, once again proving he is a proud dad who is not afraid to show it. He frequently raves about his kids and his unique parenting style.

In a recent Instagram Story update, Usher shared a picture of his son Naviyd Ely posing outdoors with his daughter Sovereign Bo. He welcomed the duo with two women: his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, and his current wife, Jennifer Goicoechea.

The teenage boy donned a Dodgers jersey over jeans and sneakers while his little sister rocked an adorable pink dress shirt, white shorts, and matching shoes. They held placards announcing their first day at a new school level.

Sovereign's handwritten sign read: "Sove's 1st Day of Pre School," while Naviyd's message was: "Nav's 1st Day Sophomore." Usher raved about their milestone in the overlay text, chiming: "This is my joy!! DAD."

The R&B icon welcomed sons Usher "Cinco" Raymond V and Naviyd with his first wife, Tameka Foster. His namesake was born in 2007, influencing his vow to be the best parent after reflecting on his own father's role in his life.

In a 2008 interview, Usher said he evaluated "what I feel like I missed from my own father — knowing that I was accepted. That I mattered. And hearing that he cared enough to put me before himself." He continued:

"You should never abandon that responsibility, which is to be there, reading with your child, being supportive of your child's growth. That is communicating. That is making the choice to put your child before your own vanity."

Usher welcomed Naviyd in December 2008 and filed for divorce from Foster a few months later, in June 2009. Their divorce was finalized in November, and he was granted full custody of their two boys, per PEOPLE.

Usher Welcomed Two Children With His Third Wife, Jennifer Goicoechea

Following his split from Foster, Usher enjoyed a brief union with Grace Miguel before meeting his third and current wife, Jennifer Goicoechea. Before their marriage, the pair welcomed a daughter, Sovereign Bo, in September 2020.

Usher revealed the meaning behind his first daughter's name in a May 2021 interview, saying, "Sovereign, man, is such a beautiful word and name to me, you know, a supreme ruler is obviously the defined name."

"She's definitely ruling the household, but Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so [she's] my little 'reign-bo,'" he explained. That year, in July, Usher claimed he was "loving being a girl dad."

Usher welcomed his third son, Sire Castrello, in September 2021. He claimed he chose the wrong music for Sovereign's birth but came fully prepared for his son's arrival with 50 Cent's "In Da Club" blasting out speakers.

The R&B Superstar Postponed Atlanta Show For Health Reasons

Usher recently made waves for postponing his August 14 concert in Atlanta just hours before opening. The Blast reported that he announced the show's rescheduling via an Instagram statement, imploring fans' understanding.

"For my 30-plus year career, 100% of my blood, sweat, and tears has gone into putting on the best performance and creating a memorable experience for my fans," the singer began, adding:

"I have every intention of doing that for this tour as well, which is why I have to postpone tonight's show and reschedule it for a later date to give my body a second to rest and heal."

Usher promised to give fans "a bit of the past, some of the present, and a unique look into the future on the rescheduled date." The best part is that the crowd would get 100% of him following his well-deserved break.
