The perceived feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has persisted amid press runs for their $50M grossing movie.

The "It Ends With Us" co-stars are allegedly in a cold war that has caused serious division among the cast and crew regarding who to pitch their tent with.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's conflict reportedly stemmed from their creative differences in the direction and production of the movie.

Sources close to the production disclosed that Baldoni, who directed and co-starred in the romantic drama, is currently the crew's favorite. The source described Baldoni as a nice guy to work with who cared about everyone on set during the production.

However, another source claimed the feud is more like a civil war, as there are people who picked Lively's side and left Baldoni's. The director has now chosen to do the press tour for the movie alone, and several crew members allegedly see things from his perspective.

Per their creative differences, Lively, who produced the project, reportedly hired her own editor. She also got help from her husband to make last-minute corrections to the script despite Baldoni being the director in charge.

The creative feud between the duo was so obvious on set that bystanders even got video evidence of Lively and Justin going at it during filming.

A source from the film's set declared that the "Gossip Girl" actor wanted to be seen as a creator, so she attempted to take over creative control from Justin.

Baldoni is allegedly done with the back and forth and even suggested the actress direct the sequel. But there is a silver lining tucked deep in this beef! One source revealed to TMZ that cast members are taking advantage of the drama to market the movie.

The source compared the current drama to the buzz surrounding Olivia Wilde's feud with her "Don't Worry Darling" co-stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles. The drama garnered serious attention for the project, and it earned nearly $90 million at the box office.

Despite the ongoing reports about Lively and Baldoni's feud, the actress' efforts as a producer were not unnoticed. Per Deadline, Lively was a "creative tour de force" in ensuring the movie did not end up basic and offering only its domestic abuse theme,

Lively reportedly infused other themes into the movie, including love lost and found and the dynamic aspects of a woman's relationship with an empowered man.

She was also active in the editing, marketing, rewriting, and social media campaign aspects of the move. The actress also helped curate a BTS playlist and the "It Ends With Us" Spotify selection.

Lively involvement did not happen without reason. The award-winning actress was allegedly unimpressed with the movie's first trailer, and after she put on her creative hat, she reportedly got the nod from Sony executives to proceed with her ideas.

She also suggested using Taylor Swift's song "My Tears Richochet" with permission from the singer herself. This act alone secured the movie's spot among a larger audience.

Lively even got her husband, his mom, and "Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman to do a quick stunt for the movie. She has since gathered a million likes on her Instagram.

Quick Facts About The Flick

"It Ends With Us" addresses the subject of domestic abuse, and the book, which was adapted into the movie, was published in August 2016.

By 2019, the book had sold over a million copies worldwide, and in 2020, thanks to COVID-19, the novel experienced a massive surge among TikTok users.

By 2022, "It Ends With Us" novel became the top-selling print book and ran for 135 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List by the end of 2023.

The book's success captured the attention of Wayfarer Studios, which acquired the rights to the novel and signed a co-financing contract with Sony.

Both companies worked closely with Baldoni, Lively, and the author Hoover to translate the book to screen, with Hoover serving as the executive producer.

Lively honored a different person with her choice of outfit at the movie premiere, and there is no other person than the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears.

The actress donned her famous vintage Versace dress, which Spears broke the headlines for in 2002. The one-shoulder number featured a pink outline with multiple sequined floral details in Lily Bloom's fashion.

Lively, who has confessed to styling herself, paired her glamorous look with brightly colored jewelry from Lorraine Schwarts and matching heels.

She let her blonde tresses fall down to her shoulders in a wavy style reminiscent of Britney Spears in 2002 and opted for a rosy, glossy lip.
