A thin collar holding everything together further accentuated the A-lister's chest, although fans were likely also paying attention to her canary-shaped JW Anderson clutch purse.

The photos, taken in June, saw Anya Taylor-Joy joining the list of celebrities swarming on London, U.K. for Wimbledon. The event this year attracted stars including Mission Impossible actor Tom Cruise, Challengers star Zendaya, and soccer legend David Beckham. Anya, who completed her look with a black pair of stilettos, quickly fell under fire as replies poured into The Daily Mail's report.

"What has she come as? There's a time and a place and also a dress code" was a reply gaining over 210 upvotes. "She may have 'turned heads' but possibly not for the reason she was either hoping for or expecting. What a mess, lack of respect and dress code," another wrote. While some positive replies were left, these received the least number of upvotes.

Anya Taylor-Joy likely doesn't need to worry about fan opinions on her fashion, though.

Anya was 25 years old when luxury designer Dior snapped her up as a global ambassador. The actress fronts the brand's fashion and makeup, joining fellow Dior promo faces including model Bella Hadid and actress Alexandra Daddario.
