DaBaby Allegedly Violates Federal Law By Burning His Own $100 Bills!

Rapper DaBaby was burning through some of his hard-earned cash this weekend -- but, the problem is he literally burned a $100 bill and that is against the law!
The 'Suge' rapper was in Houston, Texas celebrating the release of music by one of his artists, and hosting a private bowling party in the city. DaBaby shared several photos on Instagram from the event, and a video surfaced online of the same party -- both featuring the famous rapper BURNING a few hundred dollar bills.
The problem is, burning money is a big no-no and it could land the rapper behind bars!

"Kicked off weekend last night w/ the #BillionDollarBabyEntertainment Private Bowling Party??," DaBaby captioned the pictures.
If you look closely, the famous rapper is using a torch to light what appears to be a one hundred dollar bill, and watching it burn.
As we said, this is a big problem, since he posted it online -- specifically violating Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. “Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both," the law states.
The problem is, the incident was also captured on video!

The money-burning law is enforced by the Secret Service of the United States. But, as you can imagine, it is not easy to catch people who decide to burn their own money.
In this case, DaBaby went ahead and shared the cash-burning incident with his millions of followers. After the video surfaced, many joked about the face of the gentlemen in the clip, who doesn't appear to be happy money is being burned right in front of him.
It's possible the money DaBaby is fake or play money. But, as for why it's illegal? The government takes a negative view on defacing currently because it costs money to make money. (About a nickel per note.)
There's More...
It appears in DaBaby's IG videos, he was burning some more cash while making an appearance inside a Houston mall -- after he was spotted inside a Burberry store making a few purchases. Check Out The Insane Crowd...(Above).
At this point, it doesn't appear any federal prosecutor is actually considering going after the famous rapper for his money-burning party -- but, we wouldn't suggest doing it around any men in black suits with little ear-pieces in!
BTW, the government does replace paper money after is lost or falls apart, according to a report, the average lifespan of a one-dollar bill is only "about a year and a half."
Must be nice to have that kind of money to burn!
