The rapper is expected to spend this summer and the next three summers in jail after a judge handed down his four-year sentence today. Blueface's parents were present in court to support their son and were reportedly saddened by their son's incarceration.

His dad, Johnathan, was teary when he heard the judgment, and his mother, Karlissa, appreciated the fans' support and assured them of redemption for the rapper as he headed to prison.

The "Thotiana" rapper's manager, Wack 100, shared that he was able to stall his client's sentencing for the past few years, but his recent run-in with the cops over drug possession forced a quick sentencing.

Despite the weight of the sentence, Wack expressed confidence that the rapper would be released in about ten months. Based on Wack's calculation, Blueface gets credit for 440 days already served, and the State of California only makes him serve one-third of the remaining sentence.

TMZ noted that the artist had been placed on probation for his involvement in a 2021 assault case at Skinny's Lounge in the San Fernando Valley.

The Rapper Was Ordered To Pay $13 Million In Damages

Blueface, whose real name is Jonathan Jamall Porter, was arrested in 2022 for a November shooting in Las Vegas. He pled guilty to several charges, including a misdemeanor and a Category B Felony of releasing a firearm at or into an occupied structure.

Court documents obtained by The Blast in October 2021 showed that the club owner sought damages totaling $13, 072, 482 which the judge ordered Blueface to pay.

The sum was meant to replace the damages accrued from lost revenue by the strip club, which had to shut down due to the shooting incident.

The documents further stated that the rapper might still pay more money for the Plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and costs against the Defendant.

Reports close to the source claimed that the rapper's hot temper prompted the shooting at the Las Vegas club after a mystery man poked at the rapper with a joke.

The unidentified man made a funny remark about Blueface talking "to some females in a cheap vehicle," which angered the rapper and led him to become physical.

The victim, said to be a truck driver, was hit by Blueface multiple times and tried escaping the physical assault till Blueface's crew reached for a gun and fired live rounds at this truck.

Blueface was caught on camera firing at the vehicle and injuring the occupant outside the Euphoric Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas. The attack left the driver with a bullet graze wound, and his truck suffered several bullet holes from the assault.
