Grace Kelley was taken into custody on August 3 on three counts involving improper use of automobile equipment and two other related charges.
Wynonna Judd's daughter's most recent arrest marks her second time cooling off behind bars in three months — the first was for alleged indecent exposure.
Wynonna Judd's Daughter Was Arrested In Carroll County
Booking records showed she was taken in for three misdemeanor charges, including fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving with a suspended/revoked license, and misusing motorcycle equipment.
Kelley was, however, released from the Carroll County Jail, Georgia, on August 4 on a $2,750 bond. The arrest comes three months after authorities picked her up for allegedly exposing herself on a Millbrook highway in Alabama on April 5.
She was booked on a double charge of indecent exposure and obstruction of governmental operation. One more charge of soliciting prostitution was added a few days later, bringing the number of charges to a total of three.
The 28-year-old, who is the product of Wynonna and Arch Kelley III's marriage, was arrested for exposing her breasts and lower body at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Highway 14 in Millbrook.
ET reported that Kelley reportedly sat on the roadside in Millbrook, which was doubled as her current city of residence, and refused to cooperate with the police before and after her arrest.
Grace Kelley's Arrested History And Recent Early Release
This year is not Kelley's first rodeo behind the bars. In 2016, she was taken in for carrying meth and ordered to serve 30 days in jail. The singer's daughter was later mandated to attend a drug recovery intervention.
Kelley did not complete her program and bagged an eight-year sentence at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary for that. She got out on parole in November 2019 but was arrested again in August 2021 after she violated the terms of her probation.
Kelly was set free in December 2022 but was back in jail six months later, in May 2023, for breaking an order of protection and her parole. She was released in October.
Before her last arrest, The Blast reported that Kelly was granted an early release from jail by an Alabama judge after her April 25 sentencing for explicit dressing. She was initially supposed to spend 60 days in custody but ended up spending 21 days and was given time served.
Kelley Believed She Was Unfairly Arrested In Millbrook
The 28-year-old was not impressed with her May 23 arrest, which reportedly led to her mother blocking her number.
Kelley disclosed in an interview that her mom thought she was on drugs, but that was not the case, as The Blast confirmed that she passed the jail's standard drug test. She described her appearance at the time of the arrest, stating:
"I was wearing a bra, ok? On top of my bra, I had on a sports bra. On top of that, I had on a T-shirt. There are women that go jogging every morning in just sports bras."
Kelley clarified that nothing was exposed in her ensemble, adding that she wore a skirt and had panties on, "not a thong, actual underwear. No nipple was shown. No vagina was shown."
The 28-Year-Old Welcomed A Child in 2022
Kelley welcomed daughter Kaliyah Chanel in 2022 while on a leave of absence from jail and left the baby in the care of her 59-year-old mother.
Wynonna spoke about taking care of her granddaughter in October 2022. She shared that the baby helped her cope with the loss and loneliness that followed the death of her mother, Naomi Judd.
"She looks right through me, she gives me hope. They give you something to think about other than yourself," echoed the American singer during her performance on "Today."
Naomi died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in April 2022, a day before she was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame alongside her celebrity daughter.
Wynonna Judd And Her Sister, Ashley
Despite the tragic nature of Naomi's death, a positive aftermath developed from it, and it centered around Wynonna and her sister Ashley's relationship.
Per The Blast, Larry Strickland did not father the two women despite being Naomi's husband. Wynonna's dad is Charles Jordan, and Ashley's father is Michael Cimenella.
Naomi raised them both as a single mother, but since her death, Wynonna has noted that she now relies heavily on Ashley. The "Grandpa" singer continued:
"She's (Ashley) relying on me in a different way that's about compassion. It's not about being successful and smart and capable. It's about, 'I love you.' 'I love you, too.' We're vulnerable with each other, and we're tender."
But things have not always been perfect between them.In 2012, Ashley and Naomi did not attend Wynonna's wedding to musician Cactus Moser.
Wynonna also admitted that their early separation at 14 and 18 due to their careers caused them to drift apart, but a life coach and their mom's shocking death brought them closer.
