Saweetie has two words for Quavo after their public spat... "Take care."

The "Tap In" artist confirmed her breakup after three years with the Migos star on Friday, March 19, but Quavo didn't appreciate the way she did it. Saweetie tweeted her peace and explained that she is single. "I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character," she wrote. "Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women."

The "Best Friend" rapper didn't mince words when she explained that there were other women in the "Pure Water" rapper's life. "I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation," she tweeted.

Quavo expressed his annoyance that their private drama played out in public and said his peace on the social media platform as well. "I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time," The Migos star tweeted. "I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives."

The rapper followed up his message with another, more piercing tweet. "I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best," he concluded.

Saweetie quickly replied to his tweet with, "Take care." On one hand, they both wished each other well at the end of their spat, on the other, we don't think they actually have the best intentions with their mocking tones.

The two stars linked up in 2018, and Saweetie defended Quavo when cheating rumors surfaced in November. "Quit spreading that fake news before y’all get Quavo a-- in trouble cuz I don’t play that s--t," she tweeted after the rapper denied the rumors himself. That time it was about an alleged hook-up between Quavo and Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter. Now, Saweetie is hinting at infidelity being the main reason for the breakup, but there is no indication that Carter had anything to do with it.

It seems like both parties are focused on dispelling any false narratives, and Saweetie even spoke about her frustration with the internet to ET in October. "I think, because we're not so transparent and we don't share everything, it's easy for people to put a narrative or a story behind something," Saweetie said at the time. "And then other people run with it because they don't understand. And when they don't understand, you try to make yourself understand, and that's when all these rumors started circulating."

Well, this time, it came from their own Twitter fingers... no more false narratives.
