Alonso's name has been buzzing in the news following reports that she was allegedly removed from the Olympic Village during the Paris 2024 Olympics. The controversy arose after Larissa Schaerer, head of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee, claimed that Alonso was asked to leave due to "creating an inappropriate atmosphere."
Schaerer mentioned that Alonso complied with the request and chose not to spend the night in the Athletes' Village, instead relocating to a hotel. However, Alonso has vehemently denied these allegations, addressing the situation on her Instagram Stories and labeling the circulating information as "false."
"I just wanted to make it clear that I was never removed or expelled from anywhere," Alonso clarified on her Instagram, refusing to let the rumors affect her. She also expressed frustration over the ongoing speculation, particularly regarding her choice of attire in the Olympic Village, where she was criticized for not wearing official team gear. Additionally, Alonso faced backlash for visiting Disneyland Paris during the games.
