Jessica Simpson In Bikini Told She Looked 'Better With Some Weight On'

Jessica Simpson wasn't given an easy time as she shared sunkissed snaps from her family vacation in April. Posting a gallery of photos to Instagram as she documented her Cabo, Mexico travels, the 43-year-old kicked things off with a glowing selfie while bikini-clad, and the opening shot was likely the impetus for many of the critical comments left.

Looking much slimmer than she has done in the past, Jessica had fans thinking she's gone too far with her weight loss, with others alleging that she's had work done. While one fan said that Jessica looked "better" when heavier, another said they barely even recognized her.

Scroll for the snaps. Sending her fans a big grin as she showed off both her tan and a sunkissed face of makeup, Jessica sizzled in a barely visible, string bikini top. Flashing some sideboob as she showed hints of her orange swimwear, the Jessica Simpson Style founder let her flowing blonde locks cover parts of her chest, with fans seeing a spacious indoor space opening onto arched windows in the background.

Flaunting her full pout, Jessica looked happy and relaxed, with her gallery including kids Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie Mae, plus husband Eric Johnson. The family had clearly enjoyed plenty of fun, including a fishing trip and yacht day. In a caption, Jessica wrote: "2024 Spring Breakin’ with the fam was EPIC! Thank you @tinasimpsonofficial for giving these kiddos memorable moments in Cabo that they will hold close to their precious hearts and cherish for a lifetime!"

The comments are out of control. "Use [sic] to be so attractive. The natural look was sooo much better" was a comment gaining over 400 likes.

Also popular was a user remarking on Jessica's shape. "I thought she looked way better with a little weight on ….. I’m not being judgy or putting her down but just my opinion," they wrote. The actress and singer made 2019 headlines for shedding 100 pounds after welcoming her third child. Mentioning ex-husband Nick Lachey, a further user lamented: "Back when she was married to Nick and had her own tv show she was absolute beauty perfection. So gorgeous. This doesn’t even look like her."

Comments regarding Jessica's appearance are nothing new on her IG. Much of 2023 and this year has brought comments alleging lip injections and fillers, although Jessica tends not to spark Ozempic speculation.

Fans were more easygoing for the above photo, one shared to Jessica's social media last December. Sizzling in a tiger-print swimsuit and high heels, the blonde wrote: "THIRSTY" while tagging her clothing line.
