'Matrix' Star Keanu Reeves & Alexandra Grant Getting Married?

Keanu Reeves is most well recognized for his roles in the movie series’ “Matrix” and the “John Wick” movies. At the age of 56, Keanu has become an international action hero, being awarded 4 MTV Movie Awards and numerous nominations over the course of his career.

Keanu’s first big break came with the comedy science-fiction movie, “Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure” (1989) but it wasn’t until 1997 that he recovered from a series of movie flops by starring in the movie “The Devil’s Advocate”. (A movie and starring role that was well received)

There has seemingly been no end the hype surrounding this long-time movie star, nor has there been indication that Keanu is planning to retire any time soon. Although perhaps not at the height of his career (really only Keanu could be the judge of that) there is no question that Reeves is easily among the top most popular actor-celebrities in the world right now. 

Furthermore, Keanu has already revealed to the press that he is already working on the fourth movie in the “Matrix” series, and that he has plans to create another “John Wick” movie down the line. 

Having already covered his rise to immense popularity in games like “CyberPunk 2077” and “Fortnite”, it would be rather pertinent to spare the reader further details his digital accolades. That being said, however, it would be a miscarriage of accurate reporting to overlook how Keanu has risen above more than an “average” reputation. 

Indeed, Keanu’s past traumatic experiences losing his first wife had many of his fan base concerned about his mental health. What is truly astonishing, however, is that his previous loss has been used to justify an outlet’s claims about the actor had become engaged to his new girlfriend, Alexandra Grant!

Last year the outlet, “Women’s Day” shared that they believed Keanu had swiftly become engaged to his new girlfriend, but they provided no evidence to substantiate the claims except for a supposed inside source who shared that Keanu had become engaged. 

Later, another source, “OK!” shared claims from a source who said that Keanu had become engaged to overcome his previous grief!

The source claimed that Alexandra, “taught him how to love again and healed his broken heart.”

The fact that the source had the audacity to refer to Keanu’s tragic loss of his wife years ago was flabbergasting and totally inappropriate. 

Late last year, National Enquirer also joined in the discussion about Keanu’s love life, stating that he and Alexandra were truly engaged and that they had really bonded during quarantine. (During the Covid-19 lockdowns)

The outlet cited a source which said, “they’ve really bonded during the lockdown, and filming in Europe has brought home how in sync they are about life.” 

As with many stories created by outlets that take their creative liberties too far, these claims of Keanu becoming engaged to his new love were only half-truths. 

They clearly like each other, but neither were seen wearing wedding bands, nor had the pair ever revealed a marriage engagement. And to this day, the two aren’t married yet.
