Jennifer Lopez is reportedly having a fantastic summer despite the swirling rumors about her impending divorce from Ben Affleck.
According to a new report, the actress and her estranged husband are "moving on separately" from their marriage.
Jennifer Lopez is said to be focusing on the next chapter of her life and actively searching for a new home after she and Affleck listed their $61 million Beverly Hills mansion for sale.
Jennifer Lopez Is Focusing On What's Next In Her Life
According to People Magazine, Lopez isn't sulking in a corner, mourning the possible end of her marriage to Affleck.
A source told the news outlet that the multi-hyphenate is currently enjoying a "good summer" despite the ongoing drama that has surrounded her and her husband in recent months.
"Considering everything that's going on, Jennifer is having a good summer. She's been off and able to focus on what's next," the insider shared, adding, "She always has [a] good attitude even when things are not perfect."
An insider also confirmed earlier reports suggesting that Lopez and Affleck had been apart for months. According to the source, the duo is now keen on "moving on separately" despite not having made an official divorce filing.
Ben Affleck Purchased A Home Without His Wife
Already, Affleck has found a new home for himself after living for months in a rented apartment when he first moved out of the $61 million house in Beverly Hills that he co-owns with Lopez.
The actor purchased a Pacific Palisades property worth $20.5 million, which boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, breakfast and dining areas, a separate family room, a den, walk-in closets, a media room, a powder room, and a guest house.
Affleck and Lopez have since listed their marital home for $68 million, further fueling the rumors about the strain in their marriage.
The Actress Is On The Search For A New Home
Lopez, for her part, has been actively looking for a new residence for some time in anticipation of a potential sale of her marital home.
Reports from People indicate that she remains interested in staying in the Beverly Hills area and recently visited a property located on a quiet street, surrounded by other homes owned by A-list individuals.
TMZ also recently shared that the "Ain't Your Mama" singer toured a $68 million mansion in LA in the company of her child, Emme, and a real estate agent.
Back in May, Lopez explored another property, though its location has not been disclosed. At that time, it was noted that her house-hunting strategy involved viewing properties that were not officially on the market.
Are Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Planning To Announce Their Divorce Soon?
Lopez and Affleck have chosen not to address the ongoing speculation about the state of their marriage for reasons known only to them.
Nevertheless, recent actions from the couple suggest that a divorce may be imminent. It is believed that they have taken their time to make an official announcement "because they want to make sure everything is seamless when they do, especially with everyone involved."
"Neither of them want this process to be rushed. They are treating the separation with as much grace, understanding, and gentleness as they can," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
A key reason for their approach is their concern about how handling the divorce process poorly could affect their five children.
"They want to make sure the kids are comfortable with the transition and where they are living, etcetera," the source added about Lopez and Affleck. "They don't want to make it feel like they're pulling the rug from underneath their children."
Affleck has three kids—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, 16, from her former marriage to Marc Anthony.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez's Relationship Allegedly Broke Down Due To Videos Of Diddy's Home Raids
Amid the continued speculations about the duo, convicted felon Suge Knight claimed that compromising videos of Lopez from Diddy raids triggered the breakdown of her marriage.
Knight alleged that the videos the FBI obtained when they raided Diddy's homes were shown to Affleck and that they made him want out of the marriage.
"I'm quite sure they headed for divorce because that's a man who had a good life," Knight said during an episode of his "Collect Calls With Suge Knight," per Vibe. "She done brought all that extra sh-t out and now that motherf--. He want out."
The convicted felon also claimed that some of the videos showed "J. Lo doing this and J. Lo doing that," implying her involvement in the 1999 nightclub shooting incident, where rapper Shyne reportedly took the blame for Diddy, who was dating Lopez at the time.
