Eric Trump has taken a jab at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid recent claims that his father, Donald Trump, could deport the Invictus founder if he wins the next presidential election.

In a new interview, the son of the billionaire politician described the Sussexes as "bad actors" and "spoiled apples."

It comes after Donald Trump had previously shared that he would "take appropriate" action if Prince Harry had lied on his Visa forms when he moved to America.

Eric has fueled speculations that Harry might be deported by his father after he took a shot at the prince and his wife Meghan during a recent interview with British media outlet GB News.

While speaking with the publication, the American businessman seemingly noted that the Sussexes have desecrated Buckingham Palace by deviating from the traditionally expected path.

"What I can tell you is, my father had so much respect for the queen, as did I. My mum knew so many of them for years and had a great relationship with Diana," Eric said, per Daily Beast. "It's a sacred institution. You can happily have those two [Meghan and Harry], we might not want them anymore, it feels like they're on an island of their own."

In not-so-subtle words, he pointed out that Harry and Meghan have stood out among the royal family, but not in a good way.

Eric added, "You can always have bad actors in everything. You can have spoiled apples in every orchard."

Eric's remarks come after his father, Trump, hinted at the possibility of Harry being deported to the U.K. if he lied on his visa papers prior to moving to the U.S., per the Daily Beast.

Trump had, in a prior interview, shared that he would take "appropriate action" against Harry after it was speculated that the prince may have omitted his past drug use on the paperwork filed for his residency status.

It is unclear if Harry did this, but any possible action from Trump would require the billionaire mogul to win the presidential election in November.

Earlier in the year, Trump had also promised that Harry would receive no special treatment if he landed a second term at the White House.

"I wouldn't protect him. He betrayed the queen. That's unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me," the former president told reporters at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Prince Harry's Visa Application Facing Scrutiny In Court

Questions about Harry's visa application were raised after the Heritage Foundation filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security for not allowing them to obtain the prince's visa application to confirm if he had "prior drug use."

Harry had previously revealed in his self-serving tome, Spare, that he had taken psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, and even cocaine when he was younger. Such revelations can often pose an issue for non-Americans seeking admission to the country.

"[The case] comes about in the main because HRH [His Royal Highness] voluntarily – and for immense profit – admitted in writing to the elements of any number of controlled substance violations," the Heritage Foundation argued in their submission, per the Telegraph.

They added, "The Duke of Sussex did so despite the fact that it is widely known that such admissions can have adverse immigration consequences for non-citizens and despite employing preeminent legal advisors on both sides of the Atlantic."

The Court Ordered DHS To Turn In The Documents

During the hearing for the case, the DHS argued that "the book isn't sworn testimony or proof" that the prince took drugs, suggesting that the Invictus founder wrote that as embellishment for the book to sell more copies.

However, the director of the foundation, Nile Gardiner, slammed the argument as "ridiculous," adding that Harry has "never denied anything in his own book... including the extensive widespread drug use."

Subsequently, a federal judge ordered that the DHS hand over documents related to Prince Harry's visa to the court after they refused to comply with the foundation's demand to release the files.
