Donald Trump: Court In Session, Don Jr And Eric Trump Defending Dad In Non-Stop Posts

Former President Donald Trump is expected to address the public just before heading into the courtroom for his arraignment, but his kids are speaking plenty.

Trump did just as he said he would and acknowledged the crowd before stepping into the courtroom. Well, kind of, Trump walked into the courtroom and didn’t stop to say a line of two like many thought he would but instead he means-mugged his way in.

The former pres didn’t look happy that he had to be there today but that being said, he is here and the indictment is underway. Ahead of Trump one of his lawyers entered the courtroom and the DA entered just ahead of them.

According to CNN live, there is a small amount of press in the room and Trump is expected to exit and announce his own plea later at Mar-a-Lago.

The former president has already called out all the drama around the accusations when they were happening in 2016. He claimed that he has nothing to do with Stormy Daniels the woman he allegedly paid off in 2016 ahead of his presidential run.

Trump supposedly paid Daniels over $100,000 after a night of hooking up shortly after the end of a charity golf tournament that he was playing back in 2006. Daniels whose real name is Stephanie Clifford has since gone on to gain notable fame and turned her scandal into business deals.

However, she has also claimed that she has been attacked online and in person by Trump supporters and has even received threats from people in Trump's camp. Specifically, she named Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen as the one she dealt with regarding the former president.

The 76-year-old took to Truth Social, the platform created by Trump Media & Technology Group to say something, anything, seeing as he loves to Tweet up a storm.

“Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse. Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!” wrote the 45th president.

Since the news dropped that he would be investigated and charged, Trump has been extremely vocal about his feelings. He thinks it’s an attack and that it’s unfair. In fact, the words used were “witch hunt.”

This is also something his son Donald Trump Jr. has also said about his father’s indictment. Don Jr. is very strong about his feelings regarding the “attack” against his dad. While waiting for his dad to show up at the courthouse, Don Jr. posted on Instagram, “It’s time to take our country back!”

He also reposted his dad’s message from Truth Social and took a jab at the authorities, “Banana Republic,” he wrote.

President Trump’s other son Eric Trump Jr. shared a photo of his dad walking the streets of New York heading on his way to court with a bevy of American flags and supports trailing behind him.

It’s unclear if the photo is enhanced somehow because the shot is pretty epic. Stay tuned for details on the indictment.
