The Blast recently noted that Gunvalson's lawyers have expressed their intentions to prove their client's innocence in the fraud lawsuit and clear her name for good.

The 62-year-old was described as a well-respected and experienced insurance broker who has helped more than "7,000 clients" make the right financial decisions over the past three decades.

Her team added that she duly respected the plaintiff's direction in placing the insurance products requested regarding the "annuities and the life insurance policy."

The insurance broker's lawyers emphasized that she did not breach any fiduciary duty or engage in any conduct that could be tagged as financial elder abuse or fraud.

Diane Field Claimed Gunvalson And Ali Mismanaged Her Funds

The plaintiff in the lawsuit maintained that Gunvalson and her partner Ali used misrepresentations and other fraudulent measures to deceive her into investing her money wrongly and deliberately omitted facts that could have guided her otherwise.

Field continued that the duo placed their interest ahead of her financial progress, and she made huge losses in her transactions with their company.

She explained her efforts at moving her money into an account Ali was not aware of after she sensed Ali and Gunvalson were feeding her the wrong financial recommendations, and she may never enjoy the fruits of her financial investments.

The investor disclosed that she was instructed not to send any more payments after a rep from Allianz company this year told her she had over $600,000 in her account since she was paying $300,000 in annual premiums.

The Finance Expert Battled A Fraud Lawsuit In 2018

The reality star's fresh lawsuit is her second encounter in six years. Back in 2018, she was served by Joan Lile for a fraudulent life insurance policy.

Gunvalson's legal team quickly jumped on the situation after she tagged the claims as untrue.

Her lawyers maintained that the actress has always conducted herself professionally and maintained integrity and honesty in every transaction she has been involved in, whether as an insurance agent or on behalf of her client.

The involved parties soon appeared in court to fight, but Gunvalson succeeded in proving her innocence to the judge, and the lawsuit was thrown out.

Vicki Gunvalson Was Dropped From Season 17 Of  'RHOC'

Four years after winning in court, Gunvalson experienced a crushing defeat, this time with the producers of "RHOC," who refused to invite her back for the 17th season of the show in 2022.

The Blast noted that while the mom of two did not make the cut, it was confirmed that her bestie, Tamra Judge, was honored with an invite two years after she departed the show in 2020.

A displeased Gunvalson expressed her excitement for her friend's opportunity but could not fathom why the gesture was not extended to her, declaring:

"The main thing I did was cry. I mean, I was like, I didn't get the call. I mean, I think we're a good Lucy and Ethel together but there's obviously something that Bravo doesn't like about me and so I have to accept it."

The 62-year-old did not let her sadness stop her from showing up for her friend and supporting her publicly. She shared the congratulatory post on her Instagram page after it was announced that Judge would be returning for season 17.

The post featured a picture of them looking stunning for the show's promo portrait and at different red carpets. She added a caption which read:

'My friend, my soulmate my sister' is back on #rhoc. I loved seeing you reclaim your orange last night with @bravoandy on #wwhl @tamrajudge. Go give 'em hell girl!"

Is Vicki Gunvalson's decision to go on holiday a show of confidence or does the plaintiff actually have a case? Only time will tell.
