Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Reportedly 'Not Communicating' As Marital Woes Persist

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly not on speaking terms as their marital troubles continue.

Sources close to the couple have confirmed that they have hit a rough patch in their marriage, which has led to the pair no longer directly communicating with each other.

Ben Affleck was also seen recently donning a brand new look and a faux hawk haircut, which has raised eyebrows.

Lopez and Affleck have been estranged for the past couple of months as they continue to live on opposite sides of the coast.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer lives in the Hamptons, New York, where she has been seen shopping for plants and going on bike rides with her friends, while the "Argo" actor remains in Los Angeles.

According to Fox News, a source recently disclosed that they have not been communicating with each other as speculations about their troubled relationship intensify.

"Ben didn't come to celebrate Jennifer's birthday because they are done," a source shared. "Totally done. They are not getting back together.

"They are not communicating right now," the insider added. "If she wants to talk to his kids, she goes straight to the kids. Same with him."

The couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after nearly two decades apart, are reportedly trying to be there for their children amid their troubled marriage.

Affleck has three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, with her former husband, Marc Anthony.

The "Atlas" actress has been pictured hanging out with Affleck's kids on several occasions and is understood to have a good relationship with them. A source told Fox News that she has made it a point "to be there for Ben's kids."

According to insiders, the strain in their relationship has been building for some time. Both Lopez and Affleck have demanding careers that often keep them apart for extended periods.

The physical distance between Affleck and Lopez and the pressures of maintaining a high-profile relationship reportedly took a toll on their bond.

"She's changed her life and made it more about the children. She thought she'd be doing this with Ben, and she's not. Ben's kids really do like JLo, and they loved seeing their dad so happy with JLo," an insider explained.

It seems like nothing is going to stop the embattled couple from ending their marriage after a source told the Daily Mail that they'll now be pushing for divorce because a final attempt to reunite and save their relationship failed.

The "Last Duel" actor snubbed Lopez's "Bridgerton"-themed 55th birthday celebration and instead finalized an escrow agreement to purchase a new $20.5 million "bachelor pad" mansion in the Pacific Palisades on that same day.

Sources close to Lopez described the move as a "stab to the heart," ruining the possibility of a reunion between the pair.

According to the news outlet, multiple sources have now shared that their divorce papers "are finalized, but not yet turned in."

"They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them," one source claimed. "At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn't."

Another said, "Honestly, in the end, they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone, and they have both accepted it."

Amid rumors that Affleck and Lopez are on the brink of divorce, the "Argo" star has sparked speculation that he might be experiencing a "midlife crisis" due to a drastic new makeover.

The movie star was seen walking through a parking lot before hopping onto an electric motorcycle and heading to an unknown destination. Though this choice of vehicle was unusual for him, it was his edgy new look that truly caught everyone's attention.

Photos from the scene showed Affleck sporting a tiny faux-hawk, with the sides of his head almost completely shaved and the remaining hair styled forward towards his forehead.

He seemed to be embracing a rocker vibe, wearing a Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt underneath a black biker jacket paired with skinny jeans and dark aviators.
