Chrissy Teigen faced backlash from her own Instagram followers as she showed off her Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremonies look. Posting last weekend as she put on a leggy display, the media personality and cookbook author posed from the French capital with husband John Legend, with her gallery also including her kids, plus rapper Snoop Dogg. Despite looking stylish as she rocked undies-style shorts and a matching blazer to form a skimpy suit, Chrissy wound up mass-slammed, with many of the most-liked comments calling her look "inappropriate."

Scroll for the photos. Displaying her recent weight loss, Chrissy looked sensational in a chic two-piece from French designer Chloe. Wearing a shirtless, knitted blazer jacket in olive green, the Sports Illustrated Swim star added chic gold buttons on her jacket, one she paired with a high-waisted pair of shorts that very much looked like undies. Flaunting her long, toned legs and wearing strappy heels, Chrissy looked glamorous from head to toe, sporting her locks all sleek and down and accessorizing her outfit with a matching green bag.

Posing outdoors and backed by Paris' iconic Eiffel Tower, Chrissy was accompanied by Grammy winner John, who opted for a smart-casual black suit teamed with a white shirt and sneakers. The gallery also included a hotel selfie as Chrissy snapped her OOTD, this time showing off her weight loss even more. In a caption, the Cravings author wrote: "Opening ceremonies! sure it was a little (a lot) rainy but wowowowowow absolutely epic experience (and got to see a few of my favorite people!)"

While the post gained over 500,000 likes, it's now filled with critical comments. "Girl put some pants on. That’s not appropriate at all," one fan replied, gaining likes from over 1,000 others. "You're at the Olympics. Not the Runway. Totally inappropriate outfit," another said. "Who wears panties to the Olympics??" a third asked. Those replies just kept on coming. Mom-shaming the star, one user replied: "Mommy wears less clothing than the kids. How is your husband not embarrassed by this?"

Chrissy Teigen has now responded to one fan calling her out on her look. While she didn't fully defend her fashion choice, she did say: "Thanks for sharing!"
The Paris 2024 Olympics have proven star-studded this year. Alongside an opening performance from singer Lady Gaga and a Team USA welcome from R&B queen Beyonce, the event has welcomed faces including supermodel Kendall Jenner, actress, Zendaya, singer Ariana Grande, and MCU star Salma Hayek.
Chrissy was defended by some fans, but not many. Backing her up was a user saying: "Everyone mad about the outfit— she’s a model with 7ft legs let her show off her assets it bought her a house, what have your legs done."
