Offset Subtly Responds To Cardi B's Divorce Filing

Cardi B and Offset's relationship is facing yet another rocky path as new cheating rumors have circulated and a new divorce filing has surfaced.

Just a few months ago, in April, the couple was seen enjoying a date night at a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. However, as The Blast reported on Thursday, Cardi B filed for divorce a second time from her estranged husband, seeking primary custody of their daughter, Kulture, 5, and son, Wave, 2.

Following the divorce news, Offset subtly responded to Cardi B's filing.

Cardi and Offset, who tied the knot in September 2017, have had their fair share of ups and downs.

Their relationship hit a rough patch in late December 2018 when Offset's infidelity came to light, leading to a brief split. However, they reunited in early 2019, and by 2020, Cardi B opened up about why she chose to forgive Offset and give their love another chance.

"When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me," she told Vogue at the time. "A lot of women felt disappointed in me. But it's real-life sh-t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, you're not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation."

She filed for divorce a second time earlier this week.

It seems as though Cardi B's recent divorce filing hasn't affected the 32-year-old as he “liked” an Instagram post hours after the news broke that highlighted he had been “slapped with divorce papers amid being accused of cheating," something that Offset had previously denied in an Instagram Live.

A source previously claimed that this second divorce wasn’t a shock to Offset.

“They both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now," they said. “It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable."

After realizing that the rapper "liked" the news about the divorce filed by his estranged wife, social media users found the response to be a bit "odd."

"He might go down as the worst husband in history…….." one user said.

"It’s always a joke until she’s gone for good. Then the begging never stops smh," another said.

Others, however, think the entire situation is a publicity stunt. "Lmaoo I don’t believe until they actually get divorced it’s giving milk this pr," one Instagram user expressed.

"Learn the pattern it’s a PR stunt this was called out weeks ago by TikTok and as they said her roll out starts in Aug and surprise surprise it 08/01," another echoed.

Hours after the divorce news broke, the “WAP” rapper announced on social media that she is pregnant with her third child.

“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she captioned a photo of her baby bump. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”

"Reminded me that I can have it all! You've reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!" she added. "I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish."

While she is going through a divorce and has a bun in the oven, that isn't stopping her from doing what she loves most--releasing new music.

Cardi B is supposedly working on a new project, which is slated for release later this year. According to TMZ, the rapper is more than three-quarters finished, and although she still has a significant amount of work to do, sources emphasize that her pregnancy won't impact the process.
