The 62-year-old’s legal team has come out to deny that the reality star did not commit any form of financial abuse or fraud and expressed their willingness to counter the lawsuit and clear their name.

Gunvalson’s lawyers described her as a well-respected insurance broker with over three decades of experience, adding that she has "helped more than 7,000 clients," as they denied "each and every allegation set forth against her by Diane Field" in the lawsuit.

“Ms. Gunvalson followed the direction of her client, Diane Field, in placing the insurance products Ms. Field requested regarding the annuities and the life insurance policy,” explained her legal reps.

They added that Gunvalson did not engage in any conduct that could be considered financial elder abuse, breach of fiduciary duty, or fraud.

Gunvalson And Ali Convinced Diane To Invest Her Money In Their Company

In the fresh lawsuit, Diane claimed to have met Gunvalson and her partner Ali in 2019, who convinced her to transfer her money from stocks into annuities.

The conversation was filled with reassurance that Diane’s funds were safe with Allianz 222 Annuity and that her income taxes would go lower if she invested her funds.

The Blast shared that the team also promised that her kids would be financially secure after she passed away and they would survive on returns on the annuities. Diance immediately dropped her guard and decided to make the move.

Diane also took out an insurance policy to cover her $6 million net worth, but the life insurance policy did not reflect Ali’s initial claim of a one-time payment of $300,000. Instead, she learned later that she would be making an annual payment of $300,000.

Diane Accused The Duo Of Misleading Her

The investor then alleged that Gunvalson and Ali used misrepresentations and other fraudulent acts and omissions to deceive her into making harmful financial decisions. She accused them of breaching their financial duties by putting their selfish interests ahead of hers.

Diane complained of huge losses on the transaction, and in 2022, she decided to move her funds into an account Ali did not control after expressing her concerns about Gunvalson and Ali’s financial recommendations and realizing she may never enjoy the benefits of her investment.

In April 2024, Diane contacted Allianz to find out the maturity date of her investment. She was told she had over $600,000 in her account since she was paying $300,000 a year in premiums.

She was then instructed not to send any more payments because of the excess in her account, leading Diane to accuse Gunvalson and Ali of financial elder abuse for entering harmful deals.

The Reality Star Caught A Fraud Case In 2018

Gunvalson is not new to fraud allegations and lawsuits. In 2018, Joan Lile dragged the 62-year-old to court for a fraudulent life insurance policy. Like her current reaction, the reality star denied the claims, tagging them as false.

They declared that Gunvalson has always conducted herself professionally and maintained the utmost “truthfulness and integrity” in every transaction in which she acted as an insurance agent on behalf of her client.

Her lawyer declared that the reality star has never misrepresented any business policy terms or engaged in fraudulent conduct.

Luckily, her claims did not go unheeded. A few months after both sides went to court, the court dismissed the lawsuit.

Vicki Gunvalson Jumped The Gun At Daughter’s Gender Reveal

By now, we can all agree the reality star can get quite dramatic. Three years ago, she got into a spat with her son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, over the forceful gender reveal of his and Briana Culberson’s fourth child.

Gunvalson was overjoyed by the new addition to her family and because the couple have had three boys in the past, she could not wait to share the sex of the new baby with the world.

The Blast noted that the grandmother of four shared a picture of her daughter, her husband, and two of their three boys shooting pink smoke to reveal the gender of the 4th member of their kids train.

This meant the couple were getting their first baby girl. However, Ryan was not impressed by his mom-in-laws actions, and he went off on her in a deleted post on his story and wrote:

“You ever get really good news and then find out your mother-in-law ruins it? Well, it happened to me today. Oh, yeah, we’re having a girl. So thankful for @vickigunvalson,” concluded the retired marine in his sarcastic post.

Which way will the hammer of justice swing for Vicki Gunvalson this time?
