Steve-O expressed his gratitude to his "Jackass" friend!
The clown college graduate penned a short but emotional message to Johnny Knoxville on his 50th birthday. Johnny, who turned the big 5-0 on March 11, was key in the production and success of the "Jackass" MTV show and feature films. Steve-O shared a throwback where both friends look hammered and said that he is eternally grateful to Knoxville for allowing him to become the star we all know and love. Scroll down to see his post!

The "Jackass" star shared an awesome throwback that featured Knoxville with a Fu Manchu mustache and himself with a fascinating smile. "Happy Birthday, @johnnyknoxville!!! I’m so grateful for you, brother... Simply put, my life kicks ass because of you, and I can’t thank you enough," Steve-O wrote on social media.
His millions of fans were stoked to see such a classic pic of "two legends." "The way he has looked out for anyone on the show... he sounds like an amazing friend. ??❤️" one supportive fan commented about Knoxville.

Interestingly enough, Knoxville's birthday comes one day after Steve-O's sobriety anniversary. He posted a pic side-by-side pic (seen below) to mark the occasion. "So grateful to be celebrating thirteen years of sobriety today," he wrote. "Thanks to everyone who helped me make it this far and, as always, thanks to @johnnyknoxville for giving me the loving nudge that started my journey!" Knoxville quickly commented, "Love this. Love u too Steve O. Proud of u. Congrats!❤️” referring to the new photo that showed the vegan surrounded by plant-based products rather than narcotics.

Steve-O revealed on the 10th anniversary of his sobriety that Knoxville was part of the group that had him locked up to get him sober. “I just can’t put into words how grateful I am for @JohnnyKnoxville and the rest of the guys who locked me up in a psychiatric ward on March 9, 2008, where this journey began. Thank you, dudes, I really love you…”
The "Jackass" star has made some incredible changes to his life, including getting engaged to his girlfriend, Lux Wright, in 2018. He still is a loose cannon; the actor/stuntman caused a ruckus when he duct-taped himself to a Hollywood billboard in August 2020.
