Adele's Romance With Rich Paul To Feature In Film About Her Fiancé Inspired By His Memoir

According to reports, fans would finally get to see Adele's romance with fiancé Rich Paul get told in his upcoming biopic.

Paul's new movie is expected to be based on his memoir, "Lucky Me," which debuted to critical acclaim last year.

Adele is reportedly backing the new movie after Paul bagged the deal with the showrunners. The duo was recently confirmed to have gotten engaged after months of rumors that they were already married.

Adele's lover Paul is set to have a movie about his life after the success of his memoir "Lucky Me."

The book, which debuted in October last year, saw Paul recount his life story, from growing up in crime-ridden Cleveland with a drug-addict mother to rising to become one of the most renowned sports agents.

According to reports, the upcoming movie, inspired by the memoir, would feature the sports agent's romance with Adele.

Although the specifics remain uncertain, Adele is reportedly fully committed to the film adaptation and is optimistic that the movie will reach a wider audience than the book ever could.

A source told The Sun, "Adele was so moved by Rich's book and after he was approached about it being made into a film, she has been backing him. She wants people to see how amazing Rich is and the film will reach people that his book didn't."

Recent reports confirm that the couple has just gotten engaged, quelling months of rumors and speculation that they had already tied the knot.

The duo are said to have gotten engaged in Adele's hometown of Tottenham in North London, with Paul presenting the singer with a massive wedding ring. Paul reportedly chose the location due to Adele's deep emotional connection.

"Rich planned for the proposal to be in her hometown and gave her an incredible four-carat diamond ring," a source told The Sun.

The  insider added about the couple, "They celebrated with champagne at Chiltern Firehouse the following evening."

Adele has since informed her friends and family that she is off the market, and it is believed that the singer and Paul will walk down the aisle sometime next year.

Last month, a source told People Magazine that the relationship between the duo is "solid," which at the time hinted that they were in for the long run.

"They help each other and are good partners," the insider said about the couple, addingAdele "loves being with" Paul.

In the past, Paul has also confirmed how they mutually helped themselves all through their relationship.

"She's been great, I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other," the 41-year-old said of the "Hello" hitmaker during an interview on "CBS Morning" with host Gayle King, per the Daily Mail.

He added at the time, "I'm in a good space, we're in a good space. Happy. She's superb. She's been great for me. We've been great for each other."

The sports agent also playfully evaded the question about whether Adele should be referred to as "Mrs. Paul." He said, "You can say whatever you want," before adding that the information was not for the media.

Adele and Rich Paul first sparked dating rumors after they were seen attending the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns NBA Finals game together back in July 2021.

Then, in September of that same year, they appeared together at NBA star Anthony Davis and Marlen P's wedding in Los Angeles. After the ceremony, Adele took her Instagram account to share highlights, which featured photos of her and Paul.

Two months later, Adele gushed about the sports agent while sharing details about how they met at a party several years ago.

"Rich just incredibly arrived," she said of Paul, per People. "I don't feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It's quite the opposite. It's wild." She added at the time, "He's great. He's so f—ing funny. He's so smart, you know."

Since then, the two have been spotted together at more NBA games, dinner dates, vacations, and other high-profile events.

During an interview with German Outlet ZDF, the "Hello" singer revealed that she's taking a break from music after she completes her "Weekends with Adele" Las Vegas residency, which is scheduled to end in November.

She said, "I don't have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while. I don't like being famous. I love that I get to make music all the time."

Adele started her Vegas residency in November 2022 with a performance that went viral on social media. She's since taken the Colosseum at Caesars Palace by storm with each performance.

The final show of the residency is scheduled for November 23, after the singer performs a run of 10 special shows in Munich in August.
