Rick Ross Buys Amare Stoudemire's Florida Mansion For $3.5 Million In Cash

Rick Ross dropped $3.5 million in cash to buy ex-NBA star Amare Stoudemire's Florida mansion.

According to reports, the "Hustlin'" rapper scooped up Amare's longtime pad located in Broward County. The 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom, 8,675 sq. ft. property is behind gates in a fancy neighborhood in Southwest Ranches. The home sits on over 2.35 acres.

Amare originally purchased the home in 2011 for $3.7 million. He put the property up for sale in February 2021. Rick Ross didn’t waste any time and bought it less than a month after it went on the market.

According to People, the sale is "the fastest closing in the history of the Landmark Ranch Estates section." The rapper told the outlet, "It's a sprawling estate in a very secluded area. From the moment I stepped inside, I appreciated the high ceilings and rich detail."

According to Relator, the property description reads, “Beautiful landscaping adorns this 2.33-acre lot, lining the long driveway & surrounding the resort-style pool. This estate is perfect for entertaining with a covered summer kitchen, expansive patio, sound-proof theater, Nuvo sound system, sophisticated bar with custom millwork & separate guest house.”

Rick will be able to enjoy "the chef's kitchen" which "features 4 ovens, 6 burner gas range, 2 dishwashers & walk-in pantry."

The main house includes 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms & the guest house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom."

As The Blast previously reported, Amare went through it while living in the Florida pad. He was hit with a paternity lawsuit by a woman who wasn't his wife. The DNA test showed he was indeed the father to the child born out of wedlock.

In October 2018, Amare filed for divorce from his wife Alexis Welch after the news of the love child broke.

The former NBA star filed a petition for dissolution of marriage with minor children against Alexis, citing their marriage was "irretrievably broken." In the court documents, Amare noted that he was "temporarily staying in Jerusalem, Israel for business, but will return to the State of Florida in a few months, and he remains a permanent resident of Florida.

The divorce never went anywhere because Amare failed to serve Alexis with the legal paperwork.
