It has been over 48 hours since President Joe Biden announced his resignation from the 2024 Presidential run, but had yet to make any public appearances--until now.
The President of the United States tested positive for COVID-19 on July 17 and has seemingly been in isolation ever since.
While rumors circulated that he may have passed away due to complications from COVID-19, Joe Biden has stepped out in the public eye, squashing the conspiracy theories.
Joe Biden Drops Out Of 2024 Presidential Race
On Sunday, July 21, President Joe Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race against Donald Trump. This development might not be surprising, given that there have been circulating rumors about his potential exit in recent days.
“I believe it is in the interest of my party and the country to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president,” Biden said in an official letter shared to his X account, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work."
Americans Want To Know Where Joe Biden Is
On Monday evening, Kamala Harris addressed the nation, but the current President of the United States was notably absent. With the President missing for almost a week, there were growing concerns and questions about his whereabouts.
"This is the last time Joe Biden was seen," one X user wrote alongside a video of Biden exiting his private jet. "It was five days ago. Nobody knows where he is, what he’s doing, if he’s okay, or who is running the country at the moment."
"Joe Biden was reportedly last seen in public on July 17. That's when he was 'diagnosed with COVID-19' and was told to self-isolate in Delaware for a week. It was also days after the Trump shooting," another said. "America demands to know: WHERE IS JOE?"
"Kamala Harris has just arrived at what is now *HER* campaign headquarters in Delaware," another said. "STILL no sign of Joe Biden! Where’s the proof of life?!"
Well, Biden has just given that "proof of life" that the nation wanted.

The President Of The United States Endorses Vice President Kamala Harris
Shortly after Biden announced he would be dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, he revealed his "very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made.”
”Today, I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” he said after exiting the race. "Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this."
Kamala Harris Says She Is 'Honored' To Have Joe Biden's Endorsement
In a statement released just hours after Joe Biden dropped the news, Vice President recognized Biden's endorsement, expressing, "I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination. Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election."
"And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead. I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party—and unite our nation—to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda," she continued. "We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win."
