Bethenny Frankel Rips Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Before Oprah Sitdown

Former "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel is not buying Meghan Markle playing a victim of the media and making it clear she feels the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are sending the wrong message about wanting to stay private and then scheduling a tell-all interview with Oprah that is set to be streamed by millions of viewers.

Bethenny took to Twitter on Sunday morning, hours before O's sitdown with the former royal couple, and definitely had a few things to say.

Taking to Twitter, Bethenny Frankel addressed her 1.5 million followers with a hot take:

"Cry me a river...the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w
[Oprah] on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals. ? #MARRY," Frankel tweeted.

Responding to a fan that suggested the former "RHONY" star cut Prince Harry some slack, Bethenny clarified her heated statement.

"I 100% give Harry a break," Bethenny Frankel responded, however, she added, "This isn’t the way to generate less press & cannot be filed under the guise of wanting privacy to prevent a repeat of previous events."

Frankel continued, about her own career path:

"I chose reality tv, to work towards making $, to be scrutinized & criticized.I took the trappings & the beatings along with it. It’s a rose w petals & thorns. People beg to enter the often toxic institution I signed up for. That WAS the life I chose. You can’t play stupid & smart."

The comments by Bethenny set off a heated explosion across the pond as many took to Twitter to express frustration against the US reality star.

"I’m glad you, the white woman, is an expert in being the first bipoc to ever be a part of the British royal family. Nobody is saying that she didn’t have material possessions and money, the problem was the mistreatment of Meghan in the British press and by the royal family," one angry follower wrote.

However, others agreed with Bethenny, with one woman from the UK commenting:

"Finally. Bethenny says what we in the UK are all thinking."
