Davidson's reckless driving incident took place in March 2023, when the comedian crashed his Mercedes into a Beverly Hills home.

He was reportedly driving at about "100 miles per hour" with his then-girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in the passenger seat. The misdemeanor charge was finally dismissed on July 18 this year.

Davidson spoke about the incident at his latest stand-up comedy show in Atlantic City, which is part of his comedy tour, "Pete Davidson: Prehab."

According to the Daily Mail, the former "SNL" star told the audience at his show that when he got a call regarding the charges being dropped, he responded, "Hooray? I guess."

During his comedy show, Davidson discussed his battle with drug abuse.

The actor, who has openly spoken about his struggles with borderline personality disorder and PTSD, said he has quit taking most drugs and now smokes only weed.

"I can't quit yet. It's all I have left," Davidson noted. "I did coke and ketamine and f-cking all the pills and all that sh-t. All I have is weed left, so it's almost over, but I'm holding on for a little bit longer."

The comedian also got candid about his personal life and said he's working with a dermatologist to remove some of his infamous tattoos; however, Davidson shared nothing about the alleged end of his relationship with actress Madelyn Cline.

Davidson carried out his community service at the Lenox Hill Neurosurgery Center in New York, where his sister, Casey Davidson, works as a physician's assistant.

He said he was put into a program of shadowing a brain cancer surgeon who performs experimental brain cancer surgeries.

Davidson called the shadow program a "pretty wild" but "really cool" experience but didn't name the surgeon.

The "Bupkis" star revealed that all the patients under the doctor were terminally ill cancer patients who agreed to the experimental treatments sanctioned at the center.

He said, "I just think it's funny — not what he does — just that I'm there. I think it's funny that I get to observe this great prestigious man because usually to do something like that you have to work very hard or be a doctor yourself. The other four people who were there shadowing him were four doctors that were part of this program and they were all acting like they won some sort of lottery."

After completing the community service requirements, Davidson also had to take a "safe driving course and visit both a hospital and morgue to confront the fatal consequences of risky choices."

These were the conditions the California judge gave to get his misdemeanor charge dropped.

However, Davidson called the orders "f-cked up" and said, "I was like, Can I just go to jail for a day? It seems like six weeks of work."

The actor stated that he wasn't happy about the "eight-hour class on dead bodies" that he was forced to endure and hospital visits.

Davidson complained about the morgue visit, where he had to "look at a dead body that died from a reckless driving accident."

The comedian also shared that after the visits and community service, he still had to write an essay about his lessons from the experience.

After almost a year together, Davidson and Cline reportedly called it quits on their romance.

The 30-year-old comedian and 26-year-old actress decided to end their relationship amicably after it seemingly fizzled out.

It's not confirmed when exactly they split, as the former couple was very low-profile and hadn't been seen together publicly since January.

The last time Davidson and Cline were photographed together was at his stand-up performance at the Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before that event, they last appeared together at Bobo's Café in Somers, New York, where the comedian regularly goes.

Regarding their breakup, a source told The US Sun, "They ended things fairly recently, and I understand it was amicable."
