Ken Urker Drops Hints About Possible Baby Name WIth Gypsy Rose Blanchard

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who spent the last eight and a half years behind bars for her involvement in her mother's murder, has rekindled her romance with Ken Urker, her former fiancé before marrying Ryan Anderson.

Just three months after being released on parole, Gypsy announced her separation from Ryan and soon after, she went public with her relationship with Ken. And now, the happy couple has shared the wonderful news that they're expecting their first child together!

As they gear up for parenthood, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker are beginning to think about baby names.

On July 10, Gypsy Rose excitedly shared the news on her YouTube page that she's got a bun in the oven!

“I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025," she announced, wearing a white baby doll dress. "We're both very excited. This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood."

"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself," Gypsy continued. "When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the few between creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn't matter anymore. All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."

Since she dropped the baby bombshell, she’s been keeping her fans in the loop, confirming that everyone is staying happy and healthy.

During a TikTok Live on Sunday, July 21, Gypsy and Ken answered viewers' questions, many of which focused on her pregnancy. They even polled the audience about the baby's gender—most thought it would be a girl—and chatted about potential baby names.

Ellie, one of the viewers, dropped a comment on their live video, and when Ken saw her name pop up, he couldn’t help but gush about how much he loved the name Ellie for a girl. Meanwhile, for whomever is named Wade, it doesn't look as positive.

During the live, someone threw out the name Wade for a boy, and Ken mentioned it. Gypsy, though, thought Ken was actually saying he liked the name. He had to quickly clarify, “Nope, not saying I like it—just sharing what someone commented!”

This comes a few weeks after sources said Gypsy and Ken were already considering baby names. They have also named the baby's godparents -- Gypsy's half-siblings, Mia and Dylan.

As The Blast reported, Gypsy Rose's mom, Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard, claimed that Gypsy needed a wheelchair and a feeding tube. In reality, many of these conditions were fabricated or exaggerated by Dee Dee, who was engaging in a pattern of abuse known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy. This abuse led to Gypsy undergoing numerous unnecessary medical treatments and surgeries for years.

Now that Gypsy is becoming a mom, she says she will pay extra attention to raising her child and wants to "take care of all of the things that I wished I could have had when I was little.”

“It’s not about anything other than the tiny little life that’s inside you that you are now in charge of protecting," she said of parenthood. "That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, and you take care of all of the things that I wished I could have had when I was little.”

As she prepares for motherhood, 32-year-old Gypsy, who has a net worth of $3 million, has created a baby registry featuring several high-end items.

The registry includes a $240 Diaper Genie trash can, a $600 Chicco Modular Travel System, two $300 bassinets, and a $529 Sorelle Princeton Elite Panel Crib and Changer.

She initially shared a link to the registry on her Instagram Stories but has since deleted it.

Days after announcing her pregnancy, Gypsy Rose spoke to People Magazine about her childhood and what starting a family means to her. She recalled her mother's harsh words, telling her she "was never going to get married, raise a family, have kids, or do any of that."

"So, to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that's something I've reached as an achievement and a personal goal," she told the outlet. "I thank God every day that I am now having this second chance at life with a kid of my own."

"The way my mother parented me is definitely not the way I'm going to be. We always say for the next generation, we want to be better than we were raised," the 32-year-old mom-to-be said. "And so, for me, I think that couldn't be any more truthful."
