Sofia Vergara Slurps Spaghetti In Braless Sundress Without 'Gaining Weight'

Sofia Vergara is showing off her summer style and her massive appetite as she tucks into a huge plate of pasta. The sitcom star, 52, updated her Instagram just in time for the weekend today, sharing two shots of herself enjoying a meal and giving a giant nod to her love of Italian dishes. Eyeing up some fresh-cooked pesto spaghetti before enjoying what appeared to be a baked fish dish, Sofia thrilled fans with her appetite, although some did query how she can eat so much and never "gain weight." Sofia, who kicked off her U.S. career with '90s modeling in Miami, appears to be blessed from above. This wouldn't be the first time she's posted to IG while wolfing down a carb-rich meal.

Looking stylish in a low-cut, printed sundress in red and white, the Modern Family alum highlighted her curves tastefully, but the focus was the food not the fashion.

Closing her eyes and looking immersed in the smell of her delicious-looking spaghetti, Sofia wore multiple necklaces and her hair down for her restaurant outing, one seemingly including two entrees. Following her pasta showoff, Sofia Vergara returned for another snap, this time using a knife and fork to cut a piece of her huge fish portion. In a caption shouting out Italy, the actress wrote: "Primo piatto y secundo piatto."

The post wasn't even an hour old before a comment gaining likes asked Sofia: "How do you eat so much and not gain weight?" Taking a stab at how Sofia stays in such sensational shape, another fan wrote: "Sport and a balanced diet? It's not that difficult either."

Food once again featured on Sofia's IG as she celebrated her 52nd birthday earlier this month. On July 11, the Colombian-born star smiled in a plunging yellow dress as she matched her fancy yellow birthday cake, although fans didn't see her eating it. The birthday dinner was a social affair, with fans seeing America's Got Talent co-judge Heidi Klum in the gallery.

Admitting that she hates the gym, Sofia Vergara toldShape: "Everyone knows that I've never been into working out. I was always very happy with what I have. Then I hit 40 and I started seeing a softness everywhere on my body."

Sofia, who regularly impresses fans with her stunning swimsuit body on Instagram, also revealed a philosophy that sh lives by. "When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!" she added.
