Nicki Minaj Accused Of Trying To Silence Husband Kenneth's Accuser

Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are being accused of trying to silence his rape accuser.
Daily Beast spoke to Kenneth's alleged victim who is going by the name Jennifer.
In the interview, Jennifer says Nicki Minaj and Kenneth's team have made threats upon her life in an attempt to force her to recant her decades-old accusations against him which lead to him serving prison time.
Jennifer says she never recanted her story despite being harassed for months by “associates of Minaj and Petty.” She claims to have been offered “hundreds of thousands of dollars on their behalf” but declined to accept. The alleged victim says Nicki even called her at one point.

Jennifer told Daily Beast she has been in contact with the U.S. Marshals about a new investigation opened against Kenneth. The case was reportedly just opened and little details are known about it. A source told the outlet the investigation is a “high-priority case.”
Kenneth’s alleged victim moved three times in 2020. She says she feared for her safety. Jennifer said, “I’m hoping for the truth to come out, and whatever comes from that truth, to let it be.” She added, “after everything that has happened, it’s like, these people were willing to sacrifice me so this guy could remain in the public eye.”
Nicki Minaj's husband's trial is set to begin in June.

Back in 1995, Kenneth was convicted of first-degree attempted rape when he was 16. The alleged victim was also 16-years-old. In court documents, Prosecutors accused Kenneth of using a sharp object to force the girl to have sex with him. Kenneth served almost 4 years in state prison for the crime.
Last year, Kenneth was arrested after he failed to register as a sex offender when he moved to California to live with Nicki in July 2019. The feds became aware of him failing to register and hit him with criminal charges. The case is still pending.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kenneth entered a plea of not guilty and was released after paying a $100,000 bond. He is facing 10 years in prison if convicted.
Back in January, Kenneth’s alleged rape victim publicly pleaded with Nicki & him to stop harassing her. She posted an emotional video where she accused Kenneth of having people contact her with threats.
She said, "For Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty, tell your people to leave my family alone. Okay. The alleged victim said, "Don't call my fu-king family, don't call my brothers, don't call anybody. Leave me and my family the fu-k alone."
Jennifer believes the campaign to silence her started because of Kenneth's new criminal charges being filed.
