Prince William Reportedly Won't 'Soften' Stance Against Harry As He Did The 'Unthinkable'

Prince William is reportedly standing firm in his no-nonsense stance against his brother, Prince Harry, in their ongoing familial discord.
According to a royal expert, William is "adamant" about taking a "tough" approach in the ongoing feud with the Duke of Sussex, seemingly shutting the door on a speculated return to the royal family.
The future King is said to have followed in the footsteps of his late grandfather, Prince Phillip, by adopting the family's "disciplinarian" role as he seemingly "bans" Prince Harry from returning.
Royal Expert Claims Prince William Will Not 'Soften' His Adamant Response To What Prince Harry Has Done
The Prince of Wales is not changing his decision to use a "tough and resolute" approach in his rift with Harry.
The warring brothers have not spoken to each other in over a year following Harry's bombshell allegations against the royal family in his 2023 memoir, "Spare."
Due to Harry's "unthinkable" actions, royal commentator Michael Cole alleges that William is "adamant" that the Duke of Sussex will not be welcomed back into the royal fold after quitting his role as a senior working royal in 2020 to go live abroad.
"There's going to be no softening of the adamantine response to what he's done," Cole told GB News. "He's done the unthinkable. In this life, most men can put up with insults, it happens. You get insulted. What they cannot put up with are two things which they cannot abide with. Their driving ability, and they certainly cannot allow their wife to be criticized."
Prince Harry Might Not Be Able To Return To The Royal Family
Amid speculations that Harry and Meghan want to return to the royal family and have reportedly extended an Olive branch, Cole, like many, stated that he doesn't see that happening.
Cole claimed that Harry and Meghan "have made no secret of their disdain for Princess Kate," despite releasing a statement to wish her well when she first broke the news of her cancer diagnosis in March.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared at the time, "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace."
Reacting to their response to Kate's ill health, the former BBC royal correspondent shared that they could have instilled more emotions in their message to personalize it.
"Even when her cancer was diagnosed and she announced it herself," he told GB News. "The message they sent was sort of a mealy-mouthed thing."
Prince William Remains 'Tough And Resolute' On Matters Relating To Prince Harry
Cole's sentiment mirrors that of royal commentator Jennie Bond, who shared that William wants to keep his younger brother as far away from him as possible.
"William has always been a strong character," Bond told OK! Magazine. "I think his broken childhood made him tough and resolute. He now has the reputation of being stubborn and, once his mind is made up, he sticks to his decision."
She added, "He is definitely someone who commands respect within the family and whose views hold considerable sway. Obviously, as heir to the throne, his word carries a lot of weight in the family and I think it's true that he has been prepared to take a tough stand on a number of issues, including [Princes] Andrew and Harry."
Prince William Is Using A 'Disciplinarian' Method On The Duke Of Sussex
For his part, William is believed to be following in his late grandfather Prince Phillip's shoes and has taken on the role of "enforcer" within the royal family.
Despite being an easygoing and witty person, Phillip was known to have employed a firm approach to ensuring that the royal family strictly adhered to protocol and that the firm ran smoothly.
According to The Daily Beast, a source noted that William has now taken up the "disciplinarian" role and is employing it in his relationship with Harry.
"There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role," the insider shared. "Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed. Now William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline."
The Prince Of Wales Is More 'Upset Than He Would Care To Admit'
According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, the Prince of Wales' relationship with Harry "upset him" much more than he could admit.
Seward told The Mirror that the possibility of causing William more hurt in the future made the heir apparent feel it was "easier to cut ties" with the Duke of Sussex.
She said, "William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily. His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit." But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed."
