Bam Margera has emerged victorious in his ongoing custody battle with his ex-partner, Nicole Boyd.
A recent court ruling declared that the two were never legally married, effectively ending their relationship and granting him a win in their custody battle over their six-year-old son, Phoenix.
Bam Margera's court battle comes after he married model Dannii Marie in Socorro County, New Mexico.
Bam Margera Celebrates 'Win' After A Judge Said He And Nicole Boyd Were Never Married
Margera and his former partner ended their relationship in February 2023, but they have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their son, Phoenix.
In a Tuesday court ruling, the professional skateboarder was handed a tentative verdict as the judge ruled that they were never married, at least according to US statutes.
Boyd had claimed that their 2013 marriage was legal, while Margera maintained that it wasn't, as the ceremony took place in Iceland, and they didn't legalize it by obtaining a US marriage license.
"Nicole knew that we weren't married since day one, it was common knowledge and it wasn't new information," Margera told TMZ. "Of course, I won, because we were never married, but paying a fistful of dollars for a four-day trial about it and acting like she didn't know is a time-consuming pain up my a-s, but I'm used to it."
Nicole Boyd Plans To Appeal The Verdict
The court's ruling didn't please Boyd, and her attorney has suggested that she may appeal the verdict soon.
According to the news outlet, her attorney, David Glass, shared in an interview that she believed their marriage in Iceland was valid.
Glass noted that although he respects the court's decision, he disagrees with it and may move for an appeal if it remains final.
Regardless of their marital status, the former couple would still have to sort out legal issues like custody and child support.

The former "Jackass" star's court win comes after he tied the knot with model Dannii Marie in May at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro County, New Mexico, where they are filming the movie "Collecting Souls."
Margera took to his Instagram account to share his joy and confirm the news after TMZ first spilled the tea on it.
"To all of our friends and family. We've been planning this for a while with the Jim Burlson out here in Socorro New Mexico at this rad historical hotel. Danielle Marie MARGERA, it's official," he wrote.
"To all family and friends, there will be a November wedding in Pennsylvania for everyone with a @yelawolf performance!" Margera added.
Marie wore a white lace halter-top dress with large silver earrings for the ceremony. In a clip seen on Margera's IG stories, she said it had "been a crazy ride" and that she would marry him "yesterday, and I would marry you again tomorrow."
As he shared his vows with his new bride, Margera acknowledged the positive change she'd sparked in his life, disclosing that Marie made him quit drinking and inspired him to get back to skateboarding, adding, "I cannot thank you enough."

Marie's influence in Margera's life is well documented. In his vows, he credited her for helping him get rid of "all the d--kheads and goons and made me stop drinking."
According to Page Six, Marie previously shared how she was able to keep him sober and healthy after he was ordered to wear an alcohol-detecting monitor last August.
"He went through [detox] and I didn't go anywhere. We stayed in this beautiful crystal-infested pool house where we just healed, all of us, and we shut the phones off," Marie recalled.
She went on, "I changed his number and we just X'd the bad people, and here we are."
Nicole Boyd Says She's Happy For Bam Margera
Margera's marriage to Marie came on the same day he had a court proceeding with Boyd, but he didn't show up physically for it.
Reacting to his act, Boyd told TMZ, "Whatever makes him happy. I'm happy for him. But it was curious timing, considering that he was supposed to be in court for our trial today."
A source shared that he managed to attend the trial via Zoom during his wedding reception.
