Vanessa Bryant and her family has been through a great deal. She lost the father of her children, Kobe Bryant and one of her daughters, Gianna Bryant to a fatal helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.

This unpleasant loss struck the world and the Bryant family, who is still trying to find a silver lining after a year.

When the news of Kobe's demise aired, millions of fans all over the world were dumbstruck and his friends and colleagues could not bring themselves to believe the news. 

Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, alongside seven other people, were in the helicopter that crashed around 10 am, leaving no survivors. 

On social media, fans reacted to the basketball player's death and recorded how heart wrenching the news was for them. They also sent love to the Bryant family, particularly, Vanessa, who is now left to care for her three daughters alone.

Vanessa Bryant Is A Strong Woman

Losing a life partner and child on the same day is one of the hardest experiences Vanessa's ever had to face in her life. 

The model and philanthropist received thousands of condolences from fans all over the world and though she was in a state of shock, she managed to remain strong for the sake of her kids. 

During Kobe's memorial at the Staples Center on February 29, 2020, Vanessa gave an incredible speech about her husband and child. 

"God knew they could not be on this earth without each other, he had to bring them home together," Vanessa said to a congregation of teary eyes.

Recently, Vanessa had an interview with People magazine, where she disclosed how she's still trying to move past the dreadful experience that happened a little over a year ago. 

The model said she still struggles with her reality as there are days where she doesn't know if she survive it, but she does. 

Vanessa has tried her best to put on a brave front for the sake of her kids, who are depending on her for strength to process the death of their father and sibling. Although it still hurts, the Bryants are doing all they can to get better.

Vanessa Took Up Kobe's Unfinished Projects

One of the ways that Vanessa has continued to honor Kobe's name and feel closer to him, is by rounding up all the projects he left unfinished. 

Before his unexpected demise, Kobe was in the process of launching his media company called "Granity Studios." He was also about to e-launch a non-profit enterprise and Vanessa saw to the completion of these tasks. 

The non-profit now carries the name; "Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation." 

These efforts to honor Kobe is described as her "finding the light in darkness," and we wish her all the best.
