Ben Affleck 'Depressed' As Jennifer Lopez's Alleged 'Drama All The Time' Caused Marital Woes

According to new reports, Ben Affleck's inability to cope with Jennifer Lopez's "drama" contributed to the breakdown of their marriage.

Lopez reportedly enjoys a bustling social scene with a large entourage, while Affleck prefers a quieter life. This difference placed a heavy strain on their romance.

Although Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are yet to file for divorce, many expect it to happen soon.

As Affleck and Lopez's marriage continues to be plagued with divorce rumors, a source has shared a potential reason why the couple might be considering calling it quits after just two years together.

The source told Ok Magazine that despite Lopez being Affleck's "dream woman," their marriage was filled with "drama all the time," which contrasts with the "Batman" star's preference for a quieter life.

"He's feeling down about it and is upset and depressed it didn't work out, even though he knows ending it is the right thing to do," the insider claimed.

They continued, "Jennifer has a big entourage that follows her around daily — glam squad, videographers, photographers, assistants, trainers," and that Affleck wasn't used to constantly having so many people around him.

According to the source, Lopez tried to make Affleck see that being her is a "24/7 job" compared to how easy it is for him to "leave his work at the door if he chooses to."

Unfortunately, the lifestyle difference just didn't sit right with the Oscar winner.

Amid their marital troubles, Lopez and Affleck stopped living together. The actor rented an apartment near his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, to be closer to his children.

Later, Affleck returned to move his belongings out of their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion while Lopez was on a trip to Europe. This reportedly "horrified" Lopez, as she felt insulted by the move.

"Jen was horrified when she came back and found out Ben had packed everything up while she was gone," a source said about the actress, per Page Six. "As far as she's concerned, a real slap in the face."

The 38,000-square-foot house has since been listed for nearly $8 million more than the couple paid when they purchased it.

It has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, and other massive facilities for staff, recreation, and parking. The house was also renovated to the highest quality prior to being placed on the market.

The couple's lack of public appearances together in recent months and other tell-tale signs are further fueling the divorce rumors.

Affleck wasn't seen at the recent Met Gala with Lopez, which the "Maid in Manhattan" actress co-chaired a few months back. He also opted out of attending the debut of her sci-fi Netflix movie, "Atlas," leaving the actress to walk the red carpet alone.

Lopez's solo trip to Europe was also shocking, as the couple were previously known to take vacations together. She was also seen liking a social media post on healthy and unhealthy relationships, hinting at her troubled marriage.

Meanwhile, on several occasions, Affleck has been spotted outdoors without wearing his wedding ring. More recently, they spent their second wedding anniversary apart, with Lopez seen outdoors pedaling around the Hamptons while Affleck was suited up in his Los Angeles office.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer spotted her wedding ring during a somber bike ride in the Hamptons after she and Affleck ignored their second wedding anniversary.

Lopez flashed the sparkling wedding as she rode through the Hamptons in white overalls, flip-flops, and hoop earrings.

She styled her hair back in a bun and was also seen riding with her manager, Benny Medina.

In the meantime, Lopez's mother has allegedly pushed for her daughter to end the marriage rather than continue sinking deeper into the "mess" it has become.

"Jennifer's mom told her, 'Cut your losses and move on to avoid getting any deeper in this mess,'" an insider dished per the Daily Mail.

The insider added, "He was not the person she built him up to be. It's taken too much of a toll on her, and because of this, she has lost sight of who she is and what she stands for."

Lopez's sisters, Leslie Ann and Lynda, are also said to be unhappy about their sister's troubled marriage and feel Affleck doesn't deserve her.

They now want her to "focus on her kids and career" instead of prolonging breaking up with Affleck, who they believe "would rather throw in the towel than actually just try to fix things."
