Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is going tight and barefoot, untying herself from the pressures of life and making Wednesday mornings about the doggy love. The 26-year-old former athlete, always a regular on her Instagram with blue-eyed dog Mylo, today updated for her 2.1 million followers with a stunning, low-key, and home-set shot, one showing her 2020-acquired pooch, plus how casual mornings roll for her. It was eyes closed, shoes off, and the usual stunning finish from the girl who needs no flourishes. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. It comes as Aly makes headlines for slamming USA Gymnastics amid the suicide of disgraced coach John Geddert – while Twitter/Insta activity from Aly has centered around the sex abuse scandal, today kept the drama away.
All chill on her beige couch, the 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" captain was snapped in tight dark blue jeans, no shoes or socks, and a chic, striped shirt, hugging Mylo with one arm and looking totally at peace.

The gorgeous snapshot, sending out blanket vibes and seeing Mylo very comfortable with his adoring owner, came with a simple caption. Raisman wrote: "They just know when you need them," adding a white heart emoji.
Fans, seemingly knowing exactly what pets mean, have been responding. "Pets are a perfect source for love and affection. Any bad day dissolves away when your pet comes to cuddle with you," one wrote – and this is no regular pooch. Mylo made 2020 headlines for landing a doggy date with MCU actor Chris Evans' dog.

Aly, whose Instagram documents everything from her adorable home gardening and little seedling planting to her gymnast career and promos for brands including Amazon and Silk Milk, has been busy ensuring the feed isn't all about herself. Just this month, the gymnast shouted out peer Laurie Hernandez, due to compete again. A shot of the two together in glitter leotards came with support as Aly celebrated Laurie's return to the beam.

Aly, who openly battles her mental health and documents her recovery from anxiety, has been stunning her fans amid admissions the 2016 Olympics left her so low, she could barely "walk" up the stairs. The star credits gentle exercise Pilates for having helped get her back on her feet. In fact, Raisman now fronts Club Pilates.
