‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Splurges On New Home 2 Years After Kody Split

Two years after her split from husband Kody Brown, Janelle Brown has reportedly purchased a new home, signaling a new chapter in her life.

This move comes on the heels of previous emotional challenges, including the tragic loss of the "Sister Wives" star's son and navigating the complexities of a plural marriage.

Janelle Brown's new home purchase shows her independence and commitment to building a fulfilling future for herself and her children.

The reality star marked a significant step in her fresh start as a single woman by purchasing a $289,000 property in Chocowinity, North Carolina.

The 156-acre agricultural property was reportedly bought on March 28, a couple of years after splitting from the father of her six children.

The property is a new home for Janelle and a strategic choice as it's less than a 30-minute drive from her daughter, Maddie Brown, who resides in Greenville.

Maddie moved to Greenville in July 2021 with her husband, Caleb Brush, and their three children, creating a close-knit family circle in North Carolina.

Janelle and Kody's spiritual union began in 1993, and together, they raised  Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabriel, Savanah, and their late son, Garrison, per documents obtained by In Touch.

Although Janelle's purchase of this new property symbolizes her commitment to forging her path, the mother-of-six previously reflected on the connection she once had with Kody.

In a teaser for the 12th episode of season 18, titled, "The Elephant in the Room," the TV personality confessed that she would do it all over again, emphasizing that she harbored no regrets.

Per The Blast, Janelle got visibly emotional as she admitted that their love might have reached its limits. The reality TV star emotionally stated:

"I know that I didn't make a mistake in marrying him. I would do it all over again. I didn't think these kinds of things had an expiration date, but it appears that our relationship might have had an expiration date."

Janelle's acceptance of the end of her marriage to Kody was a journey marked by an unsuccessful attempt at reconciliation. The father-of-eighteen had previously made a heartfelt effort to mend their relationship on her birthday.

In an attempt to rekindle their connection, Kody took Janelle to a luxurious restaurant in Arizona, pulling out all the stops for a special celebration. 

However, the evening took a turn for the worse when Kody sought a goodnight kiss, a gesture that the celebrant was not inclined to reciprocate.

Janelle later shared her feelings in her confessional, revealing that even holding hands with Kody "just didn't feel right anymore."

Janelle's recent home purchase is just one of the many significant changes she has undergone since the heartbreaking loss of her son, Garrison. 

Last month, The Blast shared that the media personality took a fun trip to Disneyland with two of her other children, Gabriel and Savanah. 

The heartwarming photo shared on her Instagram page showed Janelle beaming with happiness, wearing Minnie Mouse ears and a vibrant red and white floral blouse.

Her children added a playful touch by forming heart shapes with their fingers. In the caption, Janelle wrote, "Disney Day! Gabe, Savanah, and I made a quick trip to Disneyland. I never want to waste an opportunity to make memories."

Following Janelle's Disneyland post, fans flooded the comments section to express their admiration.
