The 20-year-old who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump seemingly had a raunchy sense of humor as a new video shows Thomas Matthew Crooks joking about his p-nis size.
On Saturday, Crooks opened fire at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Of the six to eight shots fired, one bullet grazed the former President's right ear, resulting in a bloody wound on that side of his face.
While Donald Trump survived the shooting, one rallygoer lost his life, saving his family, and two others were severely injured and remain in critical condition. Thomas Matthew Crooks was also shot and killed by the Secret Service.
Man Attempts To Assassinate Donald Trump
Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed a roof less than 150 meters (164 yards) from where Trump was speaking. The U.S. Secret Service is now investigating how Crooks, armed with an AR-style rifle, managed to get close enough to shoot and injure the former President.
"The incident in Pennsylvania has understandably led to questions about potential updates or changes to the security for the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee," Director Kimberly Cheatle said, per Fox.
"The U.S. Secret Service, in conjunction with our Federal, state, and local law enforcement and public safety partners, designs operational security plans for National Special Security Events (NSSE) to be dynamic in order to respond to a kinetic security environment and the most up-to-date intelligence from our partners."
An AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle was recovered at the scene.
Who Is Thomas Matthew Crooks?
The 20-year-old gunman lived in a suburb in the hills south of Pittsburgh, about an hour's drive from the rally location. He graduated from Bethel Park High School with the Class of 2022.
Pennsylvania voter records show a Thomas Matthew Crooks, who has the same address and birth date, as a registered Republican. Interestingly enough, he had previously made a $15 donation to a Democratic-aligned group.
There are no known ties to foreign terrorism for Crooks at this time.

In a new video provided to TMZ by a former friend of Crooks, he jokes about having a 10-inch endowment and falsely portrays himself as a 6'4" Stanford student. However, the outlet confirmed that Crooks was only in the 10th grade at the time of the video, and reportedly, he and his classmates were creating humorous videos during a computer tech class.
His friend told the outlet that the video was filmed in February 2020 at Steel Center Career and Technical Education in Jefferson Hills, PA, which offers career and technical education to students from various public school districts in the area.
