Kate Middleton stepped out with her daughter Princess Charlotte to attend the Wimbledon men's singles finals, marking her second public appearance this year after attending the annual Trooping the Color event.
The Princess of Wales, who usually hands out the trophy to the winner, was greeted with a standing ovation at the sporting event, showing how much her presence had been missed.
Due to Kate Middleton's ongoing cancer treatment, the show's organizers were initially unsure of her attendance but shared that they were "hopeful" she'd make the sporting event at least once.
Kate Middleton Presents Trophy To Carlos Alcaraz
Kate, her daughter Princess Charlotte, and sister Pippa Middleton took their seats in the Royal Box to watch the highly anticipated Wimbledon men's Singles final between reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz and tennis great Novak Djokovic.
Kate, who doubles as the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, a role given to her by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016, was on hand to present the trophy to Alcaraz, who won the match 3-0.
She looked gorgeous in a stunning lavender gown, which she accessorized with glittering hand bangles and earrings. The outing marked her second appearance this year after she was earlier ruled out from official duties due to her cancer diagnosis.
Kate was greeted with huge applause and a standing ovation from the crowd, and she returned the gesture by smiling and waving.

The comments were overwhelmingly positive online, as several royal fans expressed happiness seeing Kate present the trophy to Alcaraz.
One person said, "She looks stunning, i hope her health is getting better."
Another noted, "What a beautiful picture and reception. Love how Charlotte is proud of her mum."
A third person commented, "Now, this is what I call a standing ovation. Always happy to see her look well. Looks like she has put on some weight. Get well soon, Princess."
"The look on Princess Charlotte's face is so beautiful and loving. Great to see them out together," one more person said.
Kate Middleton Met With Former Champions At The Sporting Event
Before the match kicked off, Kate and Charlotte met with former champions in the clubhouse, including Emma Raducanu, who presented the royal with flowers.
They reportedly also met with participants in the "Work at Wimbledon" program, which gives young people the opportunity to work at the event.
Seated alongside the mother-of-three in the royal box were Hollywood star Tom Cruise, a friend of the royal family, Prince William's Eton College mate and actor Benedict Cumberbatch, tennis great Andre Agassi, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Her presence at the tournament was a welcome development for the show organizers, who had earlier expressed doubts about her participation.
"We're hopeful that the Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as the Club's patron, but her health and recovery is the priority," All England Club chair Debbie Jevans told Telegraph Sport.
The Prince And Princess Of Wales Celebrated Wimbledon's Past 'Lady Champions'
The future Queen was not able to attend the Wimbledon women's final between Czech star Barbora Krejcikova and Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini.
However, the Prince and Princess of Wales seemingly made up for their royal absence as they took to their X account to celebrate past Wimbledon women's champions.
They shared videos of lady champions, including six-time winner Billie Jean King, 1994 champion Conchita Martinez, 2021 champion Ash Barty, as well as other winners, recounting their experiences at Wimbledon.
"Celebrating the Ladies Champions of @Wimbledon over the years today. The Championships are like no other and these legends of the game show exactly what it means to be a champion here," the royals wrote in the caption.
Kate Middleton's Husband, Prince William, Is In Germany For Another Sporting Event
At the Wimbledon men's final, Kate was notably without her husband, Prince William. This is because the Prince of Wales, who is the president of The Football Association, is away in Germany to watch the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain on Sunday.
William's father, King Charles III, recently sent the players the royal family's "very best wishes" and "warmest congratulations" for winning their keenly contested semi-final match against the Netherlands. However, he jokingly warned them to watch out for the nation's blood pressure and avoid "more penalties drama."
"My wife and I join all our family in wishing you the warmest congratulations on reaching the final of the U.E.F.A. European Championship - and in sending our very best wishes for Sunday's match," he said, per the Daily Mail.
"If I may encourage you to secure victory before the need for any last-minute minute wonder-goals or another penalties drama, I am sure the stresses on the nation's collective heart rate and blood pressure would be greatly alleviated!" Charles added.
