George Clooney's plea for Joe Biden's removal from the presidential race did not score any points with Donald Trump.

The former President was surprisingly displeased by the actor's urge for the Democrat to step down due to his age. Instead of celebrating the criticism against his opponent, the 78-year-old bashed the Hollywood veteran's opinions.

George Clooney has long supported Joe Biden and actively fights against Donald Trump's return to the White House.

Trump is no stranger to penning lengthy rants about his feelings and did not hold back in his latest Truth Social update. He gave his two cents about Clooney's recent call for a new presidential nominee, slamming his political opinions.

"So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He's turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are," Trump began, adding:

"What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrat' talking point' that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has 'saved our Democracy.'"

"No, Crooked Joe was the one who WEAPONIZED Law Enforcement against his political Opponent, who created the most devastating INFLATION in the history of our Country, who Embarrassed our Nation in Afghanistan," the former President wrote, per TMZ.

Trump's rant continued with more criticisms against Biden's rule, blaming him for the alleged rise in illegal immigration. He doubled down on the President being a terrible ruler, claiming, "Crooked Joe Biden didn't save our Democracy. He brought our Democracy to its knees."

As for Clooney, the 78-year-old advised him to stop meddling in politics and focus on being a better actor. He concluded: "Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!"

Trump's lengthy disapproval of Clooney comes at the heels of the latter's urgent plea for a new presidential nominee. He penned an emotional message in The New York Times, noting that age had finally caught up to Biden.

The "Argo" star reflected on his life-long dedication to the Democratic party, proud to have supported former president Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Biden.

However, he believed it was time for new blood to take the reins. Clooney later called out Biden's subpar performances but first stressed:

"I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as President. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he's won many of the battles he's faced."

The Hollywood veteran wrote, "But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe "big F—ing deal" Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate."

Despite his love for Biden, Clooney put his foot down against party leaders lying to voters about their conditions. He noted that while the President's tiredness or alleged cold might have influenced the infamous June 27 debate, it didn't change the impacts of age.

"We're all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we've opted to ignore every warning sign," Clooney lamented, stating that "the George Stephanopoulos interview only reinforced what we saw the week before."

The actor reflected on some of Biden's infamous moments, like his Air Force One fall, claiming that Democrats either "hold our breath or turn down the volume whenever we see the president, whom we respect."

Throughout the essay, Clooney clarified that his plea for Biden's exit from the presidential race came from a place of love. However, the same could not be said for Trump, who became the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a crime in May.

"We all think Republicans should abandon their nominee now that he's been convicted of 34 felonies. That's new and upsetting information as well," Clooney penned.

"Top Democrats — Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi — and senators, representatives, and other candidates who face losing in November need to ask this president to voluntarily step aside," the 63-year-old stressed.

George Clooney isn't the first to speak out against Joe Biden's participation in the presidential race. Voters have seemingly shown their displeasure with increased poll numbers for Donald Trump.
