Why Britney Spears Broke Up With Boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz After Seeing His 'True Colors'

Britney Spears has ended her relationship with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz.

The sudden split is allegedly due to concerns that Soliz was using her for clout to boost his profile, with a source noting that she wasn't left heartbroken over the breakup.

Following the end of her relationship, Britney Spears' brother, Bryan, is said to have also moved in with her as they continue to spend time together.

The "Toxic" singer reportedly severed ties with her boyfriend Soliz about three weeks ago over fears that he was using her for clout.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Britney declared herself "single as f-ck," adding that she "will never be with another man as long as I live!!!"

According to TMZ, an insider said of the situation, "Britney and Paul split around three weeks ago, and they were done once the singer realized her former maintenance worker-turned-boyfriend was only using her for the luxurious lifestyle."

The source added that she's not hurt over the split with Soliz as she decided to do so after seeing his "true colors."

Soliz was first linked to Britney after her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari. He is understood to have served as her handyman before becoming her lover.

The "Oops!...I Did It Again " singer blasted him on Sunday when she took to her IG stories to call out his behavior of crying about being hassled by paparazzi even though he was the one who rolled the window down.

Britney shared a photo taken after she settled her conservatorship battle in April. In the photo, the pair appear to be getting hassled by paparazzi. The singer could be seen crouching next to Soliz while he holds his hand up in the driver's seat, trying to cover himself from the cameras.

She wrote, "Why was he going 90 in a neighborhood with one pap following only to roll the window down when the pap pulls to the side of me ????."

"Then he calls his mom and says he's being harassed. Why did he roll the window down with me crying in the seat??" She queried.

According to TMZ, the source also shared that the 42-year-old singer is getting solace from her 47-year-old brother, Bryan, as they continue to spend time together. He is said to have now moved in with his pop star sister.

The source noted that he didn't move in because of her split from Soliz but because it made more sense, as he stays close to her. Britney and Bryan have been spotted traveling to Las Vegas and Cabo together.

He's understood to be an important figure in the singer's relationship with her sons, Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17.

According to the Daily Mail, a source shared that another factor that the queen of pop considered before splitting from Soliz was the relationship with her sons.

"She chose her children and her well-being over Paul," the source said. "They did not get along and he did not treat her how she deserves to be treated."

The insider continued, "He was nothing but a rebound and she recognizes this. But she has contact with her children again and this is what is most important to her. This has made her feel whole again and she realized that in their absence she was seeking something or someone to fill the void but no one can."

"She also saw how Paul was a deadbeat dad and this was a major turnoff for her. But, before anything, she knew that staying with him would only lead her down a dark path. His history speaks for itself," they added.

Sources recently claimed that the singer had not reconciled with her sons despite reports suggesting they had reunited.

Britney and her sons' relationship has been strained for years now, and this became very apparent after the termination of her conservatorship. They have reportedly not seen each other in three years, although they spoke on Mother's Day.

"Years of aberrant behavior and troubling conduct can't be easily erased," a source told TMZ, adding that there is "no evidence things have gotten better."
