Check Out Lourdes Leon, The Muse Of David Koma's Artistic Milestone

Unveiled on Tuesday, the campaign features 12 striking images of Lourdes, the eldest daughter of superstar Madonna, modeling the new collection against a neutral gray backdrop. In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the London-based designer hailed Leon as his "muse" for this milestone campaign, describing it as "an amazing kind of art."

"Because of the 15-year anniversary, I really wanted to add this personal artistic touch with the appearance of my first muse," Koma shared last week. "For a long time, I've been a fan of [Lourdes'] beauty and I went to see her perform at The Standard's cocktail bar, Sweeties, where everything that I thought of her before I met her was even more exciting. She really delivered an amazing kind of art."

From Playful To Provocative

In one standout image from the campaign, Leon captivates in a deer-print thong bodysuit and chainmail top while executing a split, a moment that Koma described as unexpectedly cool and impactful.

"It's one of the coolest images," Koma declared. "Nobody expected it when she did the splits."

The collection also showcases Leon in various other striking ensembles, including a black, backless dress where she wraps her arms around herself, and a playful shot where she balances on fuzzy shoes in an all-black outfit with her feet touching in the air. Reflecting on her inaugural Met Gala experience in 2021, Leon candidly shared her thoughts with Interview magazine, expressing gratitude for the opportunity but acknowledging the surreal nature of the event.

"I'm really grateful to have been able to go," the model gushed. "Maybe because it was my first time, but it felt crazy."

She continued, "You're just shoved into a room with all these famous people and you're supposed to talk to them and be their friend, even though you don't f-----g know them. That's not my vibe."

Leon admitted feeling "awkward" when it came time to mingle with fellow A-list attendees.

"I didn't know who the f--- to talk to," Leon admitted. "I felt so awkward that I literally called my boyfriend in the middle of it, but the dinner was fine. I mean, I was sitting with Jeremy O. Harris, who I love, and Irina Shayk, who I love a lot. She's so funny."
