On Tuesday, Gypsy Rose Blanchard dropped the biggest baby bombshell news, announcing that she is 11 weeks pregnant and is expecting her first child with Ken Urker.
The ex-convict, who spent the last eight and a half years in prison for her involvement in her mother's murder, recently got back together with her ex-fiancé after separating from her husband, Ryan Anderson.
As she prepares for motherhood, the 32-year-old has already created a baby registry, and despite having a $3M net worth, Gypsy Rose Blanchard included several expensive items on her wish list.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Expecting
Following the rumors that Gypsy was expecting, she finally took to social media to confirm the news.
“I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant," she announced. "Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025. We're both very excited."
"This was not planned at all; it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood," she added.
Shortly after dropping the bombshell, Gypsy shared her baby registry on her Instagram Stories, which left fans' jaws on the floor.
What's On Gypsy's Baby Registry?
The couple curated a baby registry featuring items priced from less than $50 to over $500!
Among the items were a $600 Chicco Modular Travel System, a $529 Sorelle's Princeton Elite Panel Crib and Changer, two $300 bassinets, a $320 monitor, a $250 rocking chair, and a $215 diaper bag.
Oh, and a Diaper Genie trash can for $240. Cash donations & Gift Cards are also available on the registry.
After seeing the news, reports claim that people are now comparing Gypsy with her mother and assuming that she may have Munchausen. People have also called her greedy, while others have called the registry a scam.
Gypsy has since deleted the link from her Instagram Stories.
The Blast also noticed that if fans go to BabyList's website and search Gypsy's name, there are several fake accounts cashing in on using her name, too.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Baby Is 'Healthy'
During the announcement, Gypsy detailed some of the pregnancy symptoms that she has been dealing with, but aside from that, "the rest has been a breeze, and the baby looks healthy [and] happy."
"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself," the ex-convict continued. "When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the few between creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn't matter anymore. All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."
The Mother-To-Be Reflected On Her Childhood
Gypsy then got choked up as she talked about becoming a mother, reflecting on her childhood. "It's not about anything other than the tiny little life that's inside you," she told her fans. "That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little."
As The Blast reported, the 32-year-old is believed to be a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental health disorder where a caregiver fabricates or induces illness in someone under their care to gain sympathy or attention.
Dee Dee convinced doctors to perform numerous unnecessary medical treatments and procedures on Gypsy, causing her daughter to believe she suffered from multiple illnesses and disabilities. This abuse persisted for years until Gypsy conspired with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to murder her mother in 2015.
Gypsy Says She Is Looking Forward To Becoming A Mother
Shortly after being released from prison on parole, while she was still with her soon-to-be ex-husband Ryan Anderson, Gypsy said she wanted to start a family of her own one day.
“Absolutely, I want kids someday. I think that I’m going to be a good mother,” she told Us Weekly in May. “I think [my boyfriend] Ken would be a wonderful father, and so we’ll see what the future holds for us.”
