Reports suggest Pitt is still reeling from the loss of contact with his children after a lengthy custody battle with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

Pitt's children notably snubbed him on Father's Day last month, and his daughter, Shiloh, filed to drop his last name from her surname when she turned 18. Insiders now claim the actor is ready to offer a truce to his estranged wife in a bid to mend his broken relationship with his kids.

"Brad's kids want nothing to do with him," an insider told In Touch. "Never in a million years did Brad imagine this years-long fight and rivalry. He's willing to throw his hands up and surrender."

Following their legal standoff about the sale of Jolie's share of their winery Château Miraval, a judge demanded that she provide all the NDAs she signed with a third party from 2014 to 2022.

The judgment came as Pitt tried to dispel claims that she refused to sell her share to him because he demanded she sign an NDA; however, a source also told In Touch that he's ready to let things slide to mend the broken relationship with his children.

"Miraval was something for the kids to have and build on when he's gone, but if they don't want it, it's a moot point," the source shared, adding that Pitt is "saying there will be no more demands for NDAs."

They continued, "He's sorry for everything that went down, and he knows he wasn't a model husband or dad during the time they were together."

"Brad knows he can't force the issue and he can't make his children want to see him," the source added. "It has to be on their terms, but he'll be there when they're ready."
