Britney Spears had fans on her side as photos of her grocery shopping in a tight top showed a slight malfunction. In February 2013, the pop princess was spotted pushing her cart around an Albertsons store in Los Angeles, CA. Ditching her signature shorts and sundresses, the blonde opted for a stylish, skintight top, but The Daily Mail focused on her visible deodorant stains. Showing hints of white smears on her brown top, Britney had fans thinking she was being unfairly targeted, with many saying: "Leave her alone."

Scroll for the photo, one reposted to an X fan account earlier this year. Grabbing herself some groceries and a bouquet of fresh flowers, Spears highlighted her fit figure in a short-sleeved, chocolate-brown turtleneck with cute sleeve embellishments.

The "Toxic" singer, aged 31 at the time, was caught by the paparazzi while in the store's parking lot, with fans seeing multiple plastic bags containing her purchases, plus the flowers she'd treated herself to.

Wearing her blonde locks scraped back and completing her look with a blue pair of jeans, brown boots, and shades, Britney Spears kept relatively low-profile, although her A-lister status was catching up with her. Also mentioned in the newspaper's report was Britney having accidentally left the house with white deodorant stains on her shirt, something that users seeing the images didn't appear to appreciate.

"Leave her alone," one fan wrote. "Leave her alone, do you not remember the very public and distressing breakdown she went through not so long ago?, I'm sure constant scrutiny, paparazzi and spiteful comments such as in this article contributed towards it, do we really want to see that happen again?, no matter how much money and fame she has she is still a human being with feelings," another said.

Britney Spears did not remain silent as June photos of her touching down at L.A.'s Van Nuys Airport went viral. The images, deemed unflattering by the Grammy winner, infuriated her so much, she clapped back on Instagram.

Stating that she felt she'd been "betrayed," Britney wrote: "The night before the paps got THAT SHOT of me going to my car !!! Same dress and same girl !!!"

Continuing, the blonde added:

Look I get it I know my body is not perfect but I also know I don't have cellulite on my legs the way the paps betray me !!! I also know the way the paps shoot me in public when I go out I look like a different person !!!"

Britney's airport arrival marked her return to L.A. after travels in Las Vegas and Mexico.
